Spencer, if you want the situation that BYU football finds itself in to make sense, consider the perspective of what a "miracle" BYU's performance has been. Clearly, God has been with the BYU football team this season! Miracles are the only thing that makes sense. As someone with great grandfathers who helped establish what BYU is today, the entire effort took place one miracle at a time to create the miracle that BYU is today. For fans like me, I can see the hand of Almighty God in the victories of the BYU football team this season.
@KirkTingey yes really. I guarantee God doesn't care if BYU is good at football. He cares about individuals. By your logic God would help BYU go unbeaten every year, in every sport because "its a great missionary tool". Sorry, that simply isn't true. At the last days he isn't going to be worried about BYUs win/loss record. Guaranteed. Go Cougs!
Here comes the BYU media hype train talking about undefeated this, CFP that...Inflating the heads of BYU players leading to the inevitable losses that happen every year.
BYU have played with the chip on their shoulder up until now, I hope they could still keep that edge even when they are getting a little recognition.
History says no, but they did outlast Baylor so hopefully this year is different.
Must remain chippy & vigilant☆
@@Isoquantonly a few byu teams have ever started 5-0. History says this team will be great!
SI has them with the toughest schedule in the Country right now!

This is why people think we’re weird
I sincerely hope this post is a joke. God does not care about athletics. Full stop.
Really? God does not care about athletics unless they indirectly help the missionary effort. Hope you are joking.
