Hi Martyn, awesome streamer. Your videos really open my eyes as to tying different patterns, especially for tying heavier flys for spinning and adding to my jig tying. (if I ever get organized so I can start tying as much as I use to). Those colors are primo for walleyes on Onieda Lake NY, US. I'm always looking for hooks and sinkers to make lures. Rubber core sinkers work great but lead is illegal under 1/2 oz in my state, but jigs are ok as well as dumbbell eyes. Speaking of hooking cables, my friend and I were fishing the St. Lawrence R., 1,000 Islands area and hooked a huge cable when we pulled anchor. Scary! Thanks my friend, excellent tying & instructions! By the way, you said the resin was Loon? What consistency? That salon nail light was a good tip, Scott Sanchez had an excellent article on resins also. Thanks Martyn.

Hi Joe, thanks for watching. I use loon thick most of the time(this fly too ) , thin and flow for some stuff and I do occasionally use CCG flex for certain things. Glad you are finding the videos useful.

Hey Martyn, is that the profile of the hook or did you bend it just below the eye?
    All the best, Sean

Hi Sean the 411S is a pre-bent hook, but if you get any stainless hook like a mustad or similar you can bend them quit easily in the vise.
      All the best
