Local comedian, television producer and media pioneer Errol Fabien shares his story and the trials that led to the power of his "story".
The Caribbean Story
This event is structured around providing a forum for sharing the progressive, inspiring and multifaceted ideas which define our society and forge our place in the global community. We intend to highlight those aspects of our shared Caribbean experience which cultivate congruity and sustainable development within the region. TEDxUWI aspires to create a programme that will facilitate dialogue among a diverse audience.
TEDx was created in the spirit of TED's mission, "ideas worth spreading." The program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level.
At TEDx events, a screening of TEDTalks videos -- or a combination of live presenters and TEDTalks videos -- sparks deep conversation and connections. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis.
