His memory is crazy. I was a ball boy for the Bobcats in 2014 when he dropped 61 when he came back as a Laker and I was behind the bench as a fan in 2019 he remembered my damn name he dapped me up & said "you think I got I got another 61 in me?" I didn't even tell him my name in '14 he heard someone else say it damn 5 years before. He didn't hesitate, or have to think about it. All the people he comes in contact with he should not have remembered a damn thing. If you think it's simple try and remember the name of a waitress or something from 5 years ago 😂. That's how insignificant a ball boy is in a arena full of screaming people.

I really don't see him having success as a coach. He's been one since arguably 2015. He'd be constantly looking for new players, no one on the team would feel secure. And could anyone run the plays exactly as he wants them? LeBron needs to skip straight to GM. It suits the role he has sought since coming back to Cleveland and then leaving to LA.

@@sencoin4921 He did. But there's also a video of him taking a free throw-like shot with his left hand and his form is terrible. So he can't "naturally" shoot jumpers with his left-hand. Because he didn't train it (like everyone but lefty shooters), and therefore he ain't ambidextrous when it comes to shooting. It's all about practice.

I’ve watched Lebron since high school and I think I get it. He plays with so much force and momentum when he plays, he has a hard time slowing down and standing still internally when it’s time to take shots from the line. It’s like a strange version of anxiety. (when you’re standing still but it still feels like you’re moving). I think that’s the reason he was able to have such success at the beginning of this season from the line. His routine was to slow down and take his time with his shot... rather than rush it.

Eidetic Memory occurs in a very small amount of children and almost completely nonexistent in adults. Nobody has ever been shown to have a photographic Memory ever. People who compete in the World Memory championships have never shown photographic Memory. Hyperthymesia allows one to recall large amounts of autobiographical information but if you ask them what year the earth began to cool after a few years of them reading a book that briefly mentioned it, they wouldn't know due to the information not being about them.

I believe LBJ's amazing ability is true, but LBJ's passion and focus on the game also has a huge impact on this ability. He's focused on the plays when he watches, not casually. There are studies done, in fact there is a book called "Peak" (great read if you are interested in this subject), discusses how deliberate focused training (LBJ watching the plays) could physically change the structure of brains (sounds crazy but true based on brain scans) and allow people to remember and perform at a "genius" level. For example, average college students could be trained to memorize close to 100 digit random numbers, and cab drivers trained to remember the map, and physical structure of their brains changed due to trainings. This is not about confidence in one's ability (which is important), rather that your brain could be physically changed through training to perform at a much higher level, just like working out your muscles. LBJ is smart begin with and with his focused play watching, gave him exceptional photographic memory, but i m sure there are other professional athletes that could do similar. You can likely do something similar too, on a subject you are passionate about, and put enough work into it.

The problem with people trying to disprove LeBron having a superhuman memory by comparison to other great athletes, is that it assumes that great athletes are great without there being a mental edge involved. If you're the best athlete as a child you can associate that with a physical advantage. But to be great against other great physical specimens isn't just athletic gifting. There is a level of genius involved.
Just like to be the best in math in grade school is drastically different then being the absolute best in mathematics against others who have studied it for years. You wouldn't call a grade school kid a genius, but you would the all-time great mathematician.
I just don't like people using their education to disprove that people like LeBron James may be superior to them in more ways than just physical.
