That’s really pretty. After a very long time my friends and I are also dusting off our old Honda’s. Also sleeved blocks built for drag and chassis built for circuit, hoping to see track time this year!
Do you feel the 87.2 Type R/GSR crank is a better option for a time attack car than an 89mm LS/B20 unit? I only made ~240whp in my road course m/AutoX DC2 when I was B series (13.5:1 85x89) and I never had any issues. Raced the car 40+ times then sold it to a guy who has 10k and counting street miles
What´s up dude! My name is Felipe and I live in Brazil. ECU management FUELTECH FT 450 I am planning save more money to buy new camshaft stage 2 or 3, but now the setup is this one. I just waiting the cylinder head to finish my assembly. I´m building by myself, So could you Bill and friends, please help and let me know if I am following to correct way to get 200whp with this seup? thanks .
On s'est rencontré il y a quelques années au youngtimers festival , tu avait une EG il me semble :) content de voir que tu continue les prépa de fou :D
hello , i have same car and same engine but biggest problem i have is exhaust manifold is very low , i have cracked it 2 times. do you find this an issue?
skunk2.com/engine/camshafts/pro-series-camshafts-4198/pro-series-camshafts-44.html These are Skunk 2 pro stage 3+ camshafts. The duration on the intake is 277 and exhaust duration is 284.
Clean civic but not making 270hp. I mean, is that a guess or sumn? Or what they say you’ll make at the crank with those mods? You’d be fighting for traction and ripping past every single car on that track if you were making 270.
Trust me, i v been in it and look how he s monstering the Porsches, it s been dyno and it makes the power The tires are a lot wider too, not sure if he was already on slicks at that time
@@htc_b a 2000lb civic with a bone stock B16 making 160hp at the crank can pull past Porsches... what’s the compression ratio of this motor? What’s the lift on the cams? How many cfms does the head flow? It sounds great and is making power but I’m not sold on 270hp to the wheels... show a dyno sheet or a dyno video if you’re gonna make unrealistic hp claims..!
@@j.feldmander1956 Well it's not my car (anymore XD) and I'm not gonna waste my time here arguing on that topic, all I can guarantee you is it's a lot of fun, and it messing with cars I would have never thought it would. I've been in different cars, including this one when it was bone stock (cause i owned it) with its full 160 crank hp, and seen how it now passes an EP3 with approx 220 crank hp from the dyno, you can tell it has arround that power. The guy who make these engines will not give his recipe because it's his thing, so just don't expect a full spec sheet. Chillax, it's just a car for fun. and if you don't buy the numbers well, that s fine too.
@@htc_b I am all about having fun with these cars. And I like the car. And it’s obviously not slow. All I’m saying is if it has not been on the dyno, saying it makes “____hp” is kinda silly. And if the engine builder won’t disclose his “recipe”, then he most likely doesn’t really have one.. I respect the build, love the car, but I just don’t respect throwing hp #’s around. That’s all. Because if an LS VTEC with CTR pistons, a ported n polished GSR HEAD (over 13:1 compression), Skunk2 manifold and Webb cams won’t make 270hp to the wheels, neither will this one. 240hp is a realistic #.
@@htc_b and an EP3 with 220hp at the crank is around 190 to 195-ish to the wheels. Dynos measure wheel power not crank power. Unless it was a bare engine on an engine dyno.
Porsche’s can’t hang love the car man
Well done, that motor is great! 270hp wow! Good driver as well.
You have done what I want for 10 years, B18 EF Rio Red, rollcage, and a lot of fun.
Perfect powerband. Amazing car

Please learn how to downshift smoothly by rev matching. It hurts to see you shift down gears like the way you do.
EF = unreal fun
A TRUE KING!!
Sooo good!! You build great race engines!! What cams? Engine temps?
Excellent work!!! 👊
Track EF = +1!
i miss my EF!

Absolutely is. More hp and more tq. 89mm is deff your best bang for your buck when it comes to a b series.
