    According to my experience in the beta, every car has its value and personality( sound, feeling, handling). You can really feel that this car is better than this car in certain races.

      Well, Meta vehicles have been there in Tc2 as well, with each one having kind of different handling but still similar in some way. I didn't play the beta so I can't say anything about the handling, but what is really individual for every single car in Motorfest is definitely the sound. They improved a lot there

      @andi8654 I played the beta, the handling feels much diffrent, classic cars handle much differently then hyper cars, and each car has classic had a diffrent feel, so the variance is differently there (I mostly drive classic and muscle, and classic cars are typically cheaper so I bought a bunch of them). They heavily improved

    I liked the handling. You can feel the Oversteer, weight and weight transfer when you put off in all assists. It's a arcade handling doing right. A game dont need to be a SIM to get a enjoyable handling

      Can you explain to me how it compares to GTA V handling? Because I tried The Crew 2 handling and it felt terrible to me - cars felt like they are forklifts in a way (like they are rear wheel steered rather than front wheel). I like when vehicles can hold the line smoothly and sometimes understeer rather then start sliding at any chance given.

      What the majority of people don't understand, is that a good arcade physics comes from realistic physics, like GTA 4, GTA 5 and Forza horizon, not the other way around like the crew and need for speed, a good arcade physics is basically a realistic physics but simplified, Forza horizon (with TCC and ABS on), GTA 4 and GTA 5 is much more easy to play than the crew and need for speed, because the car handling make sense in those ganes

    Turn off the assists and you'll notice the difference. make sure the counter steer assist and ESP are off. your cars will act like they should then, RWD being more rear biased and tail happy, AWD being stiffer and understeer more, and FWD being more understeer biased but able to brake later and dive into corners harder. Not saying its a sim but its a massive improvement over C2.

    To me, TC2 had 2 handling settings. The default, which let's you get the fastest time and beat AI since some cars barely lose traction and you can turn on a dime. Then the Pro tuned settings, that I only apply on cars for me to cruise around. I turn down tire grip and slightly more on the rear, and camber the rear wheels slightly. It allows you to not lose traction instantly like drift cars but still has traction at high speeds, understeers if you try to turn on a dime at high speeds, forces you to slow down on sharp turns, and you can still power slide around corners at slow speeds like in real life.

    Here’s my opinion: Motorfest is only the 3rd iteration of the Crew series. Games like Forza and NFS have been around for 10+ years. I played the beta a lot and went back to The Crew 2 and noticed a difference. That’s how you tell imo play Motorfest for 5 hrs then go back to the Crew 2 or vise versa play The Crew 2 than play Motorfest and see if you feel a difference. Back to NFS and Forza that have been around way longer and have had way longer to fine tune their handling physics to where they are today. Go play Forza 2 then play Horizion 5 bet there are stark differences. Go play original Hot Pursuit then play Unbound yeah I know different designers but that work was already done. Let’s not also forget that this is only the launch of the game, Ivory Tower and put out patches and updates to handling for years. Go look at Crew 2 after they changed the handling for TC, it changed that one spec a lot and made more cars viable that were considered no viable before. I think this is a good base to work off and think it’s disingenuous to compare physics of Motorfest to NFS or Forza that have had way longer time.

    • @VOID_GENESIS
      @VOID_GENESIS Год назад +2

      Speaking facts. Although the crew has only 3 games, Motorfest is already on the level of NFS in my opinion if not better. Being better than Forza may be a stretch but an after playing both games I do like motorfest more, and the variety of vehicles makes the game less boring. Forza is kinda just a Physics and graphics game, rather than actually being fun imo. Sure it looks good, but the gameplay is lackluster, they have a large variety of cars, but there are some cars people just aren’t going to use, because even upgraded nobody is touching it. That’s different in the crew though as if you upgrade a car enough it can actually be usable.

    • @kgrass976
      @kgrass976 Год назад

      @@VOID_GENESIS Imo it’s better to have variety with games as it gives players more options to play. Having a good Motorfest only helps the racing community as a whole when titles like NFS or Forza grow stale. Motorfest has a lot to offer form card to boats to planes. I like the smaller map because specs like hyper cars get way better races in Motorfest than they did in 2. I also don’t mind the no cops, to me cops have been done wayyy too long now. Plus there is only so much NFS can do at this point with cops, think of how many NFS titles have had cops, other than 3 titles every tootle sense MW 05 has had cops. Sure some people will drive certain cars but the variety is great. The killer will be when they add motor swaps, it has made NFS not enjoyable to go online and see everyone using the same car, with the same motor, with the same parts because META why use anything else. Why use any other car in Heat than the stupid RSR? Instead give us MORE cars! More variety! I wanna see someone racing a Porsche, a VW, a BMW, a Chevy in a race and see who wins. I played a lot of 2 multiplayer and had fun doing it seeing all the different cars people use.

    People think because Horizon 5 lets you take 45-90 bends at 200mph, it has the best handling for an open world game. As a horizon player and fan, Motorfest has more realistic handling than Horizon 5. Doesn’t matter what you drive, if you push it too hard, you’ll slide out of that corner or understeer off the road. Even with great tuning, one or the other is bound to happen. And I’ve played Crew 2 and Motorfest back to back, the handling is 5x better on Motorfest in every vehicle category…

    The Crew 2’s handling was more tolerable if you adjusted the default control settings. Those options weren’t well explained and the community did a great deal of testing and with time found a good balance that turned the game from damn near impossible to enjoy to decent enough. So to say the Crew 2’s handling was awful isn’t entirely fair. It’s still the worst handling racing game I’ve invested many hours into. The Crew 2 is salvaged by its map size (though barren) and myriad of activities. I’d pay full price for the new handling and a rebuilt map of the US with more detail and better visuals. Here’s to hoping that Motorfest becomes the true competitor we need to get Horizon back on track.

    Nun of theses games matter I’m tired of seeing the gran Turismo racing games can’t wait until rockstar decides to work on a new midnight club this shit boring we’re is the story mode what the plot is it just racing we can’t race for pick slips I want a good story mode with racing I don’t like theses racing games they are making that why the will never be game of the year and Ubisoft wonders why there company sucks
