Here's the tank top tutorial I tried uploading last night! I had some technical difficulties so had to re-upload it. Thank you for watching and I hope you're all staying safe and healthy 💕 Also thank you for getting me to the 25,000 subscriber milestone this week!!!
I used this to make a strappy long dress, and it worked beautifully! I just practiced a couple of times first as I'm not a very experienced sewer. Much appreciated!!
This is a great tutorial. I was able to follow it without any issues. You are very clear in your instructions and the video was very thorough. You made a sewer out of me. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this! it was so hard to find a tutorial for straps that continue around the arm hole instead of being stitched straight on the front
So happy I found you! I’ve always found sewing to be so intimidating, but you really keep it simple for beginners. Thanks for your videos and being an awesome teacher! ❤️❤️ P.S. Maybe you could do a romper tutorial in the future?!
Oh gosh this is so good I'm gonna follow your channel big time I guess even a blind person can see what you are teaching you are doing it so well I love it ❤️
Always love your funny nature takes. 😄 What a clever way to make the straps connecting both front and back. You look so pretty in your creations. Glad to see you are happy and safe Monica.
Haha, I guess as long as I film outside I'll probably have some bug or leaf or bird come after me 😂 Thank you so much!!! I hope you're staying safe as well 💕
Thank you for this marvelous tutorial. I've been looking for a tutorial on how to make the straps. You did wonderful job of making it easy for me to understand being a newbie to sewing. THANK YOU!
Oh my heavens- this is exactly what I need! I’m burning up in this Florida heat ( Yes, I know , it’s February, not fair) and my husband is super thrifty with air conditioner use , so I decided to just make all the camisoles I can out of ITY scraps . I LOVE how you explain how to make that continuous armhole binding and strap section. You are an amazing teacher, and your cami is gorgeous !
Love how you explain this procedure. Just found your channel and this is by far the best instructions I have come across to do this tank top. Thank you.
Thank you for this tutorial, I'm just getting into sewing and I'm trying to start making clothes and I want to make a shirt but I was confused and scared I'll waste a lot of fabric but now I feel a bit more confident
Hello thanks a lot for you tutorial yesterday I made my first project watching your video, I did some mistake for my first time, but I’m very happy with my results, thanks a lot for sharing!! From :Brooklyn 😊!
Thank you thank you thank you!! I have sensory processing issues that make most clothes very uncomfortable and a few years ago i found some dresses with this exact neckline type that are the most comfortable things ive ever worn. The store doesnt sell them anymore and they are starting to look ratty since i wear them on rotation every day (i bought enough so i wear each one about once every two weeks) but even with that ive started being embarassed going out in public wearing them. Ive considered duplicating them myself for months but was intimidated by the knit fabric and how to do the neckline and thin straps but you solved the mystery for me and i cant wait to try and make myself some new dresses ❤
You always make these tutorials so easy to follow Monika! The top so pretty on you, it would be ideal for me as a 'modesty cover' under a top that is too low (I have a couple of tops that I feel is too low for me to wear. As always, TFS, stay safe ndkeep well! 💓💓💓
Your comments always mean so much to me, thank you Hazel! I'm so glad you'll be able to use this for that purpose! I was thinking I'd make a few solid ones for undershirts as well, plus I like them for fall to wear under jackets... so great to have on hand! Thank you for watching and you stay safe as well 💕
I really appreciate you and all your hard work! You give me hope that I can do this! Your videos are very easy for ME to follow. I even did your peplum tops today for my daughter's crop shirt that became too short for her, she loves it! I thank you 😊 is there any way you can do a shorts ,leggings, and possibly pants tutorial if time permits some day? New forever subscriber! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
Aw thank you Davita, that means so much to me! I'm so happy you're able to follow the tutorials and it means a lot to have you subscribe to my channel 💕 That's awesome that you added the peplum to another shirt, that's such a great idea! I have a leggings tutorial I made a few years ago on the channel, it's a little outdated but it might help... I hope to update it this fall if I have time! It should come up if you search Comicat Creations Leggings. I really want to make a shorts tutorial but unfortunately I'm not sure if I'll get to it this summer, but if I don't I also have a loungewear/pajama pant tutorial with an elastic waistband I made a couple years ago that you could follow and make a pair of stretch shorts the same way, but just use shorts as a guide instead of pants... here's that video: ruclips.net/video/9fSvKgsmWx4/видео.html I hope that helps! Thank you again for watching!!!
This is a great video, I am subscribing. I would like to sew a bra cup and attache it to the inside of this tank top. Do you have any instruction on that?
Good job. I want with 2" straps with a square kneckline.. front and back. Could you make a video for the same. Please tag me. Shall appreciate. God bless. 🙏
I don't have a wrap dress using non-stretch, the two wrap dress tutorials I have both use stretch knit. I do have a couple of wrap skirts using non-stretch though if you'd like to make a wrap skirt instead of a dress... here's a playlist with most of my tutorials that'll work with non-stretch fabric, I hope you'll find something you'd like to use your fabric on: ruclips.net/p/PLPbm7bbor0ForKAHK59dMJ67BiNS5hLfU
@@ComicatCreations thank you for responding. I really appreciate it. I will follow the link you gave. I'm wondering if I made a wrap dress using your tutorial, just a size bigger, it might work with linen. Just a thought
I loved that fabric when you made the wrap dress so very happy to see you had enough for another project. You amaze me when you create these beautiful clothes with no pattern other than the item you are using. How did you get into doing things this way and have you ever used patterns to make things? Hope you don't mind me asking.
I love this fabric too! I saw some recently in different color schemes on LA Finch Fabrics (where I bought it from) and wanted all the colors lol 😄 Thank you so much! No of course I don't mind you asking! I have never been big on patterns - I have a really hard time following them and understanding them, and I'm amazed at how many people have commented saying the same thing... eventually I just started playing around trying to make things based on what I had instead and it worked so much better for me, and I'm so excited that it's helped other people as well!

Thankyou!! The missing knowledge in how to replicate a dress I love! How to bind neckline and armholes to become straps!!! Much appreciated 🎉
I’m so glad I found this!! The strap tutorial part was so much easier than the way I was trying to do it!!
