This channel made me buy this game and start on extreme. After getting used to the controls for certain actions I started and finished my first mission with no hud and raided a Unidad base. I had to stop playing after because I was so stressed lol.
I had an idea for a channel like this with role-playing co-ops. keep it up. People forget games are made with a broad brush for wide appeal to large audiences. If you want a game to be fun, you have to play your role in it. Skip the milsim haters too. The magic circle is not magical until the Luden makes it so. There is always a suspension of disbelief in games. No one wants to play one single mission every 6-8 weeks after intense recon and playbooks studies, with a 20 man support team and jtf assistance from air drones naval strikes. Obviously, it is not a real military sim. Obviously, it's 3 dudes playing a game. Get over it haters. lol
My teammates hate that I play no HUD and Extreme because I can't revive them quickly enough. Like, tell me where you were heading and what's your current 20. They just say they are down and can't explain their location. Stop rushing in. Only 3 of 80 friends play like me and when we are on together, we play similar to you. Good job.

Really. I need to ask: how is it possible to play this game in extreme dificulty trying to keep things "tactical" and realistic when the game has such schizophrenic enemy spawning and ramdom events? I try to play with my friends and enemies drop out of nowhere and alerts brings tons of cars and reinforcements in a matter of miliseconds. Don't get me wrong. I love this game and have cleansed all the map in ertreme dificulty. But at a cost of lots of frustration and desperation laughs.
Honestly I’m extreme it’s best to be a true ghost. Try your absolute hardest to complete missions without the enemy even knowing you are there. Slow down your shots. If aren’t 100% confident that you’re shot is a good one. (Meaning it’s going to kill the tango, no one will witness the kill and no one will hear your shot). Take the time to evaluate every mission and the roads, lines of sight, cover, etc and if you are playing in a squad always have a designated overwatch. Someone who’s your eyes in the sky. Utilize your drone. If there’s a jammer then that’s your first priority is getting eyes in the sky. Thermal thermal thermal vision! Life saver. Daytime, nighttime, idc I’m always using rebel spotting and thermal vision to identify tangos. Given on extreme you don’t get the minimap markers indicting enemies in the area. Communication is key. Also have a designated team leader. Someone who can call shots and the team is going to listen. And the most important part....SLOW DOWN. I’ve taken down over 96 Unidad in a heavily guarded base playing solo without the team. I sat for almost 10 minutes just evaluating the way they patrol and making sure I scanned and re scanned a dozen times to identify everyone in the massive base. Then it’s about planning your infiltration and thinking about what you are going to do if things go wrong. Never assume things are going to go smoothly. For load-outs I suggest having a bolt action sniper (if you’re more of a mid range sniper the MK-14 or G28 are decent) and an assault rifle (I use the M4A1 with a grenade launcher. Very handy for when unidad reinforcement vehicles are driving up or the occasional helo is overhead) just be smart
After reaching Tier 1 i can tell you that extreme difficulty in general is the only thing keeping me playing the game. The problem isn't the setting it's Tier 1 mode, making you significantly frailer and enemies are nearly omniscient. If you're grinding for the exosuit or just T1 in general, good luck, but if you're not then it's the primary reason I didn't enjoy GR Wildlands
I play this solo with [almost] no hud on extreme. Stealth is key, and it's a *way* slower game than the 'default' experience. Personally, I believe thát is the way the game was intended prior to making it a standard icon-hunting-ubisoft-title. You need to remain unseen at all times. That means, you have to time your kills, analyze patrol routes, grab enemies and drag them away so their bodies aren't found... You have to manually identify your objectives and if a target runs, you better keep your eyes on him! Always fly your drone around so you know what is coming. Certain interior missions are insanely difficult [steal the car from the freight depot, sheesh] . If you do alert a camp - and you hear they're going to attack you, or reinforcements are coming; just run away and hide. Yes, they'll respond quickly; but you can usually confuse them by not being where they think you are. I often approach a base from one angle, scout it ahead a little and maybe take out a guard or two.... Then I place C4 on that end. When they find a body or are otherwise alerted, I detonate to lure them to the other side.
Bart Something I do the exact same thing, plan our escape routes and play with no hud for Immersion. I plan escape routes if something goes wrong so I can get out of there quickly, always have a second plan.
If you're wanting to emulate a SOF look. Operators never wear DAPS (the body armor with the shoulder protection), speed is security, it's a plate carrier or a chest rig. Conventional forces will maybe wear DAPS on convoy duty.

There are times when I feel like I'm watching an ongoing military operation for real😂!!! You guys amazing! Still there are some things to note down... Like your team sniper's accuracy stands around 50-75%, but imo it should be above 80%. His support skills are truly amazing though. And... the close quarters at times got too cautious types, like when you were hacking, you were moving too slow, crouching while not required. You guys could've saved some time there. Again, this was my observation, finally some people are playing the games the way it's intended to be... Keep up the good work !!! PS: PLEASE ADD A 4TH MEMBER TO YOUR SQUAD... one who could carry LMG and ANTI VEHICLE WEAPONS for support.... If the road gets messy! ;)
Great yall play as friends in kinda comfort but gameplay style is for me personally so passive, Me myself prefer decoys, blitz raids, halo drop-ins, multiple tango sync hits, boobytraps, smoke & thermal offenses.. 'spec-ops team'. Everyone has their style, making it all fun. I know people who wander around & just like to drive or watch sunrises or sunsets. Lol. This games potential is breathtaking in entertainment value. Haven't played it in a while, time to find a Helo & take down some bosses. ;)

I really wish that there was a concealment element to wildlands where dressing up in civilian clothing and using smaller weapons like SMGs allows you to walk in and around enemy compounds posing as civilians. I also wish that ghillie suits made it nearly impossible for AI to find you.
Yeah I agree, concealment options would be cool, or the option to go in with just a pistol tucked in your jeans. But then again a group of shady looking yanks wandering around is gonna arouse suspicion in Bolivia regardless.

I really wish that there was a concealment element to wildlands where dressing up in civilian clothing and using smaller weapons like SMGs allows you to walk in and around enemy compounds posing as civilians. I also wish that ghillie suits made it nearly impossible for AI to find you.
Ghillie Suits do play a factor in stealth when in the brush and at night.
Yeah I agree, concealment options would be cool, or the option to go in with just a pistol tucked in your jeans. But then again a group of shady looking yanks wandering around is gonna arouse suspicion in Bolivia regardless.

You guys should take the realism to the next level and only carry one primary weapon and a pistol. Then you will really have to rely on each other and work together.
