The rubber boot definitely makes a difference in sound with the shifter. I’ve tried it both ways and without the center console. I can tell the noise is significantly reduced. Just my .02 Good content, thanks for sharing!
yes! I do believe it's worth it in my opinion, makes the driving experience more fun and you'll definitely notice how short the gear shifts are and as far as it being practical besides it being shorter gear throws, the part will function the same as the stock shifter just way more fun lol
Hey Jimbo, I'm not sure what year S2k you have but I have a 2000 and wanted to know if did any other mods like the oil jets, retainers, valve cover baffle, or oil pan baffle?
Thank you for tuning in!! to answer your question No, I have not done any engine mods as of yet besides a intake. I may consider some of those mods along the way haven't really decided yet.
Ohhh ... The P.O. of my S2K put in a K&N cold air intake and I don't have the original air intake but supposedly that's better than any aftermarket cold air intake. I would be willing to do a trade for a complete stock air intake if anyone wants???
I have an ap1 2002 and I was on the same train as you lol, I have gotten most of those things done (besides oil squirters). It’s a hassle but it’s well worth it ! If you don’t track a lot you really don’t need the baffle mod, although it does help with oil consumption under heavy acceleration (constantly) you really don’t need to do that mod unless you spirit drive/daily. But if you do track I would recommend it 👍
I have a suction cup phone mount but as you can see on the intro it was extremely shaky, the rest of the video was recorded and held by my wife lol on a dji 3 osmo gimbal
