Glad you like the films. It gets quite expensive.Around £5000 outlay without any edit equipment.Your best bet would be to contact a video camera club as they can tell you the type of equipment to buy.It can be a bit of a minefield ,and in a camera club you should have members who can give you advice on makes/models etc. I suppose if you want something reasonable you are in the range of £10,000 ,but there are companies on the net that offer secondhand, reconditioned equipment.Good luck with it.
In the water at present !! We are busy making big shark films from our camera boat, but I just met a river pike guide so could be something new in a few weeks. They will be coming .Fear not.
Good job you are watching,I would never even have noticed it ! Please don't watch our sea films, the fins go all over the place!!.Especially trying to hold a live shark. But fear not,I know they all survive OK as I have been tagging them for 40 years and have had loads of recaptures to prove it. Do they ever tag carp I wonder ? I know they have tagged Barbel, and I've certainly tagged Pike. Might be interesting research project for a student.Mind you they can't migrate far stuck in a lake I suppose
Maybe later in September.Water is too hot at present, lots of floating weed.Needs rain to increase oxygen content and knock back algal growth.Scheduled on our list anyway.
You need to make sure the line comes off the spool of line in the same direction as it goes onto the spool of your reel. It's also a good idea to put the line spool on the floor rather then puttin a pencil through the hole which causes the line to twist which is why it loops off the reel. Also, be careful not to overfill your reel.
Hi, I was just wondering what camera you use to film most of your footage as well as any extra add ons (such as external mic, etc). I would greatly appreciate it as I am looking for some possible equipment to purchase as I am going to start making my own fishing videos soon hopefully. Thanks a lot and I love the videos :)
Sounds like overfilling, or maybe you have wound it on the wrong way from the spool. Suggest you take it into your local tackle shop, they have be able to help. I never wind mine from the end of the spool, do it the wrong way and you twist it.
hi i would like to know on fishing lakes if you fish with 2 rods do they usually charge you for each rod in the water i know different lakes have different rules so i though i would ask thanks Matt
hello I am from Hamilton Ontario Canada. I find carp fishing very fun and would like to know how to get that kind of gear? I Have caught smaller carp accidentally and we have some great areas from some larger carp and would like to get into it more. what do you recommend I get to start? I noticed alarms? and what type of rods are those? Thank you very much for your time! Cheers! Fred
What was the second lake? Why don't shows like this ever tell you. Going there soon and be love to k ow what lake they're one especially considering first fella had 14 out.
Bit out of context but any tips Graeme on how to put new line on a reel i am trying to put 18Ib line on to my new baitrunner and all that keeps happening is when i open the bail arm it spirals off i have my line coming off the spool anti clockwise and the reel taking the like clockwise obviously and the other way round with the spool i have soaked the spool over night but it keeps doing it any help?
Wrong ! I never even touched the fish.Just filmed it. You can apologise later if you want.I personally think the fish was handled with care.I guess you never made a mistake in life ?
Cringed at 3:00 when he's picking it up. You should never hold a fish with the pec fin forward like that. It gets worse at 3:10 when its in the net with its fin forward - should always flatten out the fins when putting a fish in a net/sling/sack, otherwise its how you seriously damage a fish. Well done to the guy for having a good session and im a TA fishing fan, but if there's beginners watching this video it's the easy kind of mistake to make.

Good lad and nice to see someone that young that clearly puts fish safety at a top priority. Good job to that lad.

Standard fishing license covers 2 rod use for non-migratory fish if I recall.Always check. Each day permit offer may differ.

Depends if there are some "shark huggers" out there as well. The only way to fully protect a fish is not to fish for them at all !!
