This was the first reenactment I ever participated in! It was really fun. I was the rebel with the gray and yellow cavalry jacket. I hope to be at Irwinville on the 3rd!
Hey Chris. I was Commander of the Union artillery. You did a great job with this video. Very good, clean video. Nice position. Unfortunately, I wish you were there on Sunday as we discussed on the phone today, because Sunday was 10 times better given we reorganized it to make sure that we had massive artillery power in front of the audience. But in any event, great job! Job Chris! You captured it!
Hey 1stminnsharpshooters341, thank you for the comment and support. I enjoyed this battle and having the opportunity to walk the Andersonville Prison Historic Site after the event
Hey jellyfish1333, thank you for the comment and I hope you enjoyed the video and will check out my other videos and support the channel. I am a volunteer Park Ranger at Kennesaw Mountain and was there for their 160th Anniversary and there is tons of great places to visit in the Marietta/Kennesaw area
This must be Andersonville, SC. They have a reenactment at Andersonville, GA. There was no battle at the prison, but they did have a demonstration of how these people lived their lives at this time period. The battle was really a demonstration of CW tactics. If I remember correctly the Confederates won on one day and the Federal the next.
