They don't have any idea the number of buys that quick after the fight. You've got to add up the ESPN sales which is all private customers in the U.S., but you've also got thousands upon thousands of commercial sales to bars and clubs, etc., and ESPN doesn't get that money supposedly, not to mention the international market.

Look the reason Conor doesn’t fight often is because it’s very difficult to set them up, when they give Conor a fight, they know they’re gonna have to pay him a shit tonne, and they know he’s very valuable. So obviously they won’t offer him anything where he’s the underdog. On top of that there’s Conor himself who’s awkward to work with, the guys already rich so he won’t settle for a small pay check from the UFC.
