I'm 55 and a die hard metal head, however I remember seeing DMB back in the early 90's in Charlottesville and remember telling my friends to watch out...this.band is going to be huge ..the rest is history...anyone claiming they suck doesn't know what musical geniuses these guys are...30 years strong!..Virginia's Finest!...And this is coming from a huge Korn fan...Rock on DMB!!
totally agree, I'm also a metal head that loves DMB, discovered them on a MTV presentation back on '93 while sitting on my couch in my teenage years in Lima, Perú!!! and also a huge Korn fan!!!
I love the way Dave floats around the stage playing his acoustic guitar while the rest of his band is killing it. He’s so obviously enjoying their skills as if he was one of us in the audience . Not an egotistical bone in his body. Pretty awesome for a guy who IMHO is a musical genius. Even the greatest bands in history usual start off with their best music and have a some type of drop off towards the end of their existence. Dave is the exact opposite. Somehow his music has evolved over the years and gotten better as time has passed. That’s unheard of and what makes him stand out from virtually every band I’ve ever loved. I’m a 60 year old music fan who grew up with the super bands of yesteryear. Not easily impressed. Dave Matthews is by far the best artist of his generation. I realize this stuff is all subjective but for me he’s up in some rarified air with the all time greats.
I am 67! Saw my 1st DMB concert but have loved the music since the 90’s! Can’t believe it took me so long to FINALLY see them! Can’t wait for next year! They ROCK!!
the piano in this takes it to a completely different level, and it's one of my all time favorite songs. this band is the definition of aging like wine. incredible.
One of the benefits of starting out awesome and never compromising, is the line of stellar musicians waiting to fill in whenever a core band member is lost. DMB is as good or better than they have ever been, at least in their live stuff.
Wow Carter Beauford got some white in his beard now!! I never realized that he places his snare so low. I was always thinking he had it higher than how he has it sitting here
@@Needawholepailofwater Disagree. He is replaceable. They replaced LeRoi, they replaced Butch, they can replace the violin. Boyd did not retire. He had allegations of sexual assault.
@@HenryPerez_royal_hp nah he’s not. His improv is really messy and meanders without much of a hook. I feel the same way about Tim. Leroi was really great at it.
Im 16, wish my generation could experience music like this.
cant wait to see them live!
They can but don't want to.
Your generation is totally fucked.
You can
How about MAKE music like this??? Gen Z is lagging. Learn guitar, kid.
Just saw DMB preform this song last night but with a peddle steel added.
Pure Magic
I have never seen DMB live, its on my wishlist and one thing i need to do before my last breath! Never stop the music...
Saw them for the first time in 2015 and it was worth it!
I saw them back in 2003 and I’m so glad I did. Great show…. Definitely recommend.
You will.
Make it happen!! Been a fan since I was in my mothers womb in 1995. I Started in 2018 and already on my 8th show. You won’t regret it
Not sure where you live but Labor Day at the gorge Sunday night with Black Pumas opening….. tickets still on sale

I'm 71 & have lived through all sorts of supergroups through the years, and this group ranks among the very best!
Maybe THE best!

Good for you my friend. They are something special
God. Damn. That was AWESOME.

That piano playing was so beautiful!
They're all FABULOUS MUSICIANS! 👏🏻
Fact. Just like you being hot!
Whoever this buddy guy is. He’s unbelievably good! wow! i love Carters groove!
Whoa. The pianist really took it to a new level.
That drummer is amazing! So much spirit and so smiley
and liz was that day years old when she learned who carter beauford was lol
@@minjabear7524 ....not sure what you are saying
You mean Carter Beauford!!!
One of the greatest drummers ever.
Fact
Great band. I love all of their music. Since the 90's and they still have it. One band I definitely must see.

There are few truly ....truly......good things in our one lives.............this is one of them
I love this song. Seen DMB 9 times at the woodlands. It's been a few years since I've been to a show though. I'll be there next may though FO SHO!
Do they even know what they've done!! Absolute perfection.
Greatest Vibe in my Soul... DMB it's a dream!!!
Is there a more lonely song...don't think so. This is what music was made for.
Damn, this is good
Piano is awesome
Carter must be cold
I was there!! Perfection
This video includes some of the best playing by Buddy. He nailed the solo.
I've never seen musicians groove so much during others solos, amazing!!
What an awesome song... Nice 🚬🌿
All I’m saying is, this band is amazing. Carter is fucking awesome.
I am 85 and i love them (?)
Long time no hear, fantastic as always!
Love the Buddy Strong solo!
Great great band…
Fabulous jam!
Bucket List
This song is one of my favorites.
This is so beautiful! I was going to suprise my daughter and go to this very concert but couldn't get out of work. Can't wait until next time!

oh yea...50 years old
Please bring back violin.
They have toured nonstop since the 90’s. Family is the most important thing once you reach a certain age.
@@Needawholepailofwater What does that have to do with having a violin in the band?
@@genem24321 the violinist retired and he’s irreplaceable
@@Needawholepailofwater Disagree. He is replaceable. They replaced LeRoi, they replaced Butch, they can replace the violin. Boyd did not retire. He had allegations of sexual assault.
Violinist was fired! Due to legal issues! But I agree I did like the violin! I love all their music!
😎
whose the pianist?
My heart miss seeing them live, the shows just got too gross.. the audience I mean
Ok
Olemanilapup¥
Cowboy song
He was no "superman" bounty on my head, sweetheart
Walking away from mega bucks, ouch!
What’s that mean?
🦀
I get it bands evolve sometimes but its missing that Boyd sound.....
I can't believe Ryan Davis cheated on Jolynn with Michelle Thomas and Jennie Pace and Brian Toups covered for them 😳
Der keyboard troll verspielt sich zu oft. Dislike.
You must be joking???

Buddy strong kinda ruins almost every song. He’s really good, but his style doesn’t mesh with dmb well
been out of touch with DMB lately.. love the keys!
