Damn his school sounds almost as bad as mine was. It was a Christian school where girls were ONLY allowed to wear skirts and dresses that had to be below the knee (even for gym class) girls shirts had to touch the collar bone. And girls weren't allowed to play sports only be cheerleaders for the boys. Boys and Girls were not allowed to touch under any circumstances, not even to pass your paper forward. Oh and let's not forget zero electronics and if you were found with any but especially non-church/gospel music you'd immediately get dention for at least two weeks, spankings and your parents called. And 98% of parents were 100% on board with these bullshit rules.

bc the bands that peak in high school are the ones with mainstream sound every popular kid thinks is cool the ones that do weird and unique niche stuff are the ones that end up with the big fandoms
I could be wrong but didnt green day start in hs. I think there was something about the stones knowing each other since childhood but no idea when the actual band formed. Kids you can have a successful band even starting in hs! You can do it :)
