Or maybe 'Tell me' was played first in the UK before LL's song. I like Shades' harmonies but goodness, the message of the song is none to palatable.
If only they released this a bit later. They definitely pioneered that sound reminiscent of 3LW, 702, and Blaque that came out a few years later. Of course like another poster mentioned, LL released Loungin around the same time and this one never got to shine.
