7 Pin sprocket? Stock saw? You could probably make it chooch with 0.018" rakers or so? I get it, though; you were just playing with bar/chain/sprocket which was handy.

@@HayChaffandSawdust1 someone has put a after market 390 piston / cylinder on it and honestly, it sucks. This is part of me trying to kill it before I waste a day pulling it apart and replacing it.
404, 7 rim. Chain has .030 depth gauges. This was only done because I was swapping the 660 over to 3/8 and needed the rim off this saw

@@SawChainTheories I've had good luck with the 390 on 310 and 290 saws, but you GOTTA port them (in my opinion) and do muffler work before you ever get back to "stock" performance. I moved the bearings in the last 029 to adjust the squish and it make a nice machine! These cheap saws (no offense to yours!) are fun to play with; scrap a WHOLE ENGINE, and you're out less $$ than the cost of a chainsaw bar. Thanks for the reply!

@@HayChaffandSawdust1 I bought it for 100 bucks and put a carb kit in it. It works just not very well. I suspect the rings have lost tension because the cylinder walls / piston look ok but it's down to 120psi of comp. It's on the to-do list, just have to get around to it.
Cheap saws are way more fun. I could buy 6 more of these for the same price as a cylinder for the 880

I think the gauge of the chain was bogging the saw down ? Not enough engine power.

@@giuseppelatina2640 Pretty much. Technically it's the chain pitch (404) that's the issue, these normally run .325 or 3/8 but the rim sprocket and chain for the 660 where sitting next to this. I knew it was a bad idea before trying it
