Well, it sort of came back in 1989 with OG host Geoff Edwards and announcer John Harlan and now originating from Hollywood, but lasted only 13 weeks because syndicator Palladium Entertainment went bankrupt (could've went with 20th Century Fox, who previously handled sister show The $100,000 Pyramid).
Later in the first season as Ken Ryan announced the early first season episodes, and John Harris announced the later first season episodes. Ken Ryan announced the late episodes of the third season, also.
