Panasonic G9 Slow Motion | 125fps | Leica 50-200mm

Image quality test from the Panasonic Lumix G9 in slow motion 125fps, with the new Ver. 2.0 firmware allowing manual settings in variable frame rate modes. I shot 125fps as oppose to 120fps as I use a 25fps timeline.
All shot with the Leica 50-200mm f2.8-4 with manual focus. Shot in 1080 and upscaled to 4k to get around some youtube compression.

I've been trying to gauge the quality of the G9's slow motion upscaled to 4k
FINALLY I find someone shooting below 180fps
*AND* without black bars baked into the video
**AND** without concussing my eardrums with EDM bass drops

Very nicely done. I love the VFR mode. I am thinking of putting my camera on a gimbal and seeing how well it works then, but will only slow by 40% so I can capture in 4K

Just export at 4k, its only useful for youtube to try and bypass some compression.

As much as I'd love it (I would) I'm pretty happy with the 12-60 and 100-300 combo. I'm giving thought to the Oly 75/f1.8 and/or the 60mm Oly macro. It's hard to pull the trigger with so many nice options.
