The shag marry kill joke was SORELY underappreciated XD
I notice regularly how famous (and male) comedians get more laughter, no matter the actual quality of the joke. It's about expectation. I sometimes try it out, "what if this other comedian had delivered the exact same joke?"
@@livb6945 Same! I actually did an experiment where I had one guy friend and one girl friend to the same bit at 5 different comedy bars, and we watched the tapes and even with the exact same delivery, same amount of audience and same joke the guy always got more laughs. Peculiar.
Most of comedy is expectation, context and delivery. The content of the joke itself is only half the fun!
@Colleen Rose got more thomas mueller vibes
@@Emily-ys2do That's sad. I suppose people are conditioned to believe that women aren't as funny as men. I think I internalised this belief myself for a time (I'm a woman, btw) and thought maybe women really weren't as funny as men. It's embarrassing to admit those doubts, because I'm a passionate feminist, but I wouldn't really allow myself to watch female comedians for fear they wouldn't be funny and would embarrass themselves. I dreaded seeing the comments from men saying, 'Women aren't funny', etc. It was just sexist brainwashing, but it did a number on me for a bit.
I think the greater representation of female comics helped turn this around for me. I found myself actually watching them, and finding them every bit as funny as the men (funnier, in some cases).
"Differently alive" hahahaahaha
I feel like that's a terry pratchett reference somehow
L B
I think it's a reference to political correctness.
It is
Henrik Høyrup they should call it what Bethesda calls it on the Doom Eternal gameplay.
"Mortally challenged"
Daniel Cannata I clicked this thread to see if someone mentioned that
LOL
I think I died when Dara shot Ed with the nerf gun! 😂
A ricochet, then?
Unfortunately you didn't.
@@toneronii Considering Dara Ó'Briain is Irish, and Dara (or Darragh) is a boy's name in Gaelic, it's not that much of a misconception.
feverspell there’s no apostrophe mate, it’s Ó Briain
I didn't actually realise the gun had fired!
As a serial killer, my name would be "The Suspense. " So when I killed my victims, they would be all like "Oh no, the suspense is killing me!"
And we would both laugh right before I killed them
One of the most copied jokes on the Internet.
“No! Don’t go into the basement!”
“You know what, I think you might be right...”
Ed's "differently alive" has the same energy as "mortally challenged"
Here's johnny and I'm gonna put it on my willie, that killed me 😂
and we gonna have sexy
Tony- Atkinson Johnny is slang for condom
Seyoncé
SoylentCyan my fav!
I was dying at that hahaha
I’m pretty sure it’s Seance like fiancé, didn’t actually have anything to do with Beyoncé... joke wouldn’t make sense then
All the single ghouls all the single ghouls 😂
That joke really does just get better with time
eds seyonce joke made me cry with laughter
'made me' and Ed's
Dara wheezing after he nurfed Ed always gets me
I think you mean a broken nerf gun!
Romesh killed it!
Georgina Lewis and so did Ed aswell
- soldiers holed up in a tiny room, ominous banging on the door.
"What IS it sarge?"
"It's...a VERY hungry catapillar"
The very hungry caterpillar could take over the world- no one would be able to stop it....
28 Days Later. A horrifying journey of a man going from Three Bridges to East Croydon with Southern
Romesh is so underrated
As a fellow Crawley native I always love it when he drops references to my home town like that too.
i have the message from the other side.........we have bake off now!
rotchenkova I've lost my fear of death.
Lol
rotchenkova I just wanted to say how much I love your profile pic
I was kinda hoping that it would be "I have a message from the other side...... Are you paying too much for your car insurance"
Yes but without MARY BERRY
Hey Mario, where's your brother gone?
Not sure, lets try the Luigi board!
"Sure I'll just watch one..." famous last words
“Guys - there is a murderer on the loose. We should STICK TOGETHER!”
“Agreed”
I think you mean a BROKEN Nerf gun!
Mine
"Be careful, those are vegan zombies."
"So they don't eat meat, eggs or dairy?"
"No, they only eat vegans... Steve you should probably run."
Graaiiinss!
Here I was thinking that they go after couch potatoes. So my cousin's husband is safe?
"RUN FOR IT! VEGAN ZOMBIES!"
"But, if they don't eat meat, why are we running?"
"BECAUSE THEY WON'T SHUT UP ABOUT IT!"
The “Here’s Johnny” joke was great
My entry:
"They say that whoever solves this puzzle no longer differentiates between pain and pleasure. Personally, I've never understood the appeal of these Rubik's Cubes."
It's even better if you read it in Milton Jones' voice.
Only the fidget spinner Cenobite knows for sure
And this is why you are not on the show ;)
"Within these walls are horrifying creatures, devoid of empathy... who exist only to cut, cut, cut, cut, cut...
This... is the conservative party conference."
2:34 dara could not look more like Cru
gRU
grwho?
The guy from _Despicable Me_.
Cespicable cree
He could have a pointier nose.
That ukip joke😂🤣😂
2:35 Dara turns into Mutley!
I had a friend that did that laugh if you could tell a good enough joke! That laugh always makes me laugh!
Ed Byrne channeling Reg Shoe from Discworld there...
Or Mrs/Ludmilla Cake.
zombie joke is bsically the entire bbc series in the flesh
H M ye
I see what you did there.
That's exactly what I was thinking
My exact thoughts
Love Dara's Mutley laugh at 2:35 :D
My entry:
(Bang), ok that's the killer dead and no-one died; what are we going to do for the next 90 minutes?
Ok and that is why you are not on the show ; )
@@guyhunter2877 It depends on the delivery, some of the funniest laughs comedians get is because how they can tell the joke and not the joke itself.
Tommy Cooper once came on stage with a plastic saw prop on his head and said "I have such a sore head" and got laughs for a £5 joke shop prank.
Romesh looked disgusted with himself after that "Here's Jonny" joke.
Zombles 😂
The UKIP joke's gotta take the cake.
Here's Johnny!!
I'm gonna put it on my Willy!!🤣🤣😂😂
Mine "I see dead people... oh actually never mind, it's just the Torey Party"
Brian Henderson 🤣🤣🤣
lol @ Dara with the Muttley laught at 2:35.
Ramesh: "i know what you did last summer, because you keep posting all your boring S**t on facebook"
Ed: "i actually rather you not say zombie, the term now is differently alive"
both jokes were great i cracked up XD
I think you mean a broken Nerf Gun! 😂😂
"Creepy sound upstairs...Better leave this place."
"No, Count Dracula, no hickies!"
The UKIP joke 👏👏👏👏👏
“Beware! This place is cursed! It’s Emmerdale farm!”
love the ukip one!
Ed Byrne rocked that one
"you know what? Let's *not* go in there."
I love watching these clips. Someday, I hope to meet Ed Byrne - and give him a friggin' decent haircut!
I'd rather you not say zombie the term now is differently alive. I could imagine that being said on a comedy horror.
Mortally challenged
Kind of already happened:
“Don’t use the Z word!”
R Linders Shaun of the dead!
Dara was so happy 😊
The last joke always gets me
"Demon is an offensive term. Please use mortally challenged."
my entry:
lets not go into the dark abanded house on the end of the street
Teens: Is someone in here?
Murderer: Yeah in the kitchen. Want a sandwich?
All of Ed Byrne's jokes are my favourite in this one
Tri strike
It was nighttime in deepest, darkest Transylvania, and the lady of the house had gone to bed. Suddenly there's a tapping at the window, the window opens and in crawls - A VAMPIRE.
Quickly she grabs the crucifix by her bed, holds it up and cries out "In the name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, begone foul vampire".
The vampire looks down at her, shakes his head and says, "Oy, lady. Hev you got the wrong vempire".
I love Zombles.
Ed absolutely killed this
In context of the nerf gun, that bit should do that
2:33. You gotta know you deserved that, right? XD
The UKIP joke is now also accurate of the tory party atm, by comparison being a UKIP supporter was probably tame compared to the tories nowadays
16 people broke Dara's nerf gun.
I thought it was vitally challenged.
Remember you're a Zomble! Remember you're a Zomble!
Ramesh is so funny he even makes himself laugh 😂
First Joke brilliant
The Zombles of Wimbledon Common are we, making the most of the (forgotten the words), things that the everyday folks leave behind.. Dum-dee-dum, etc, etc,.... Would like to see that reboot.
I woulda just said "boo"
Zombles lol
and they lived happily ever after.
I like the last one.
Why yes my phone does work
My entry:
Happy birthday Georgie
Too soon.
HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERE'S JACKIE... CHAN.
*kung-fu pose*
I live in three bridges
Someone: oh no zombies!!
Zombies: that term is offensive and longer politically correct and now we would like to be referred to as the undead
Roasting your best mate classic
As a Nerf youtuber I can confirm that nerf gun is fucked
I have a message from the other side... Do you like the band showaddywaddy
XRioteerXBoyX I would guess that Hugh has retired that particular character.
They funny.
A broken nerf gun*snort*
Can someone please explain “zombles” and why that was funny?
Ed Byrne 😍
Oh nO tHeRe UnDeR tHe CoVeRs!1!!!1!
WhAt EvEr WiLl i Do!?!?
What's the name of the guy in the denim shirt? I found him so funny!
Romesh Ranganathan
1:19 Ramesh almost went up when it wasn’t his turn
There's no specific order, they just go up when they feel like it.
0:22 what the? they skipped a joke
We get it, you play Doom
Hello, I'd like to play a game.
Pick a number, pick a colour, pick a number, pick a colour
(One of my specials)
I see dead people....
Because the doctor keeps taking me everywhere in his freaking TARDIS!
*A memoir by Clara Oswald*
(Ive had that in my notes on my phone for a week and finally found somewhere to use it lmao)
Let's NOT split up and search
0:13 In The Flesh
We prefer the term "Undead Americans." Especially if we aren't American. Just to fuck with you living folk. XP
It's not that it was funnier when Frankie, Russell and Andy where on it. More than they, Dara and Hugh had better chemistry.
What does the buzz mean?
Next...
Wait... Im a black person and survived??
Oh the Black guy did survive
0:15 “differently alive” is kinda offensive, I prefer “mortally challenged”
"I see dumb people, and they don't know they're dumb!"
But like, why does he have s Nerf gun
00:15 dooms versions better “mortally challenged “
Oh you don’t look that scary
