I know May Gorman, Marrion Fox , Melda and Margaret Buckley . I knew most in the street because my own family were from Moore Street and the Market's. I remember the dasie market at the back of the fruit market selling old clothes and worn shoes. Poor day's needs must. First up best dressed. We also lived five minutes walk up the street from town. Where Real Dub's are planted and grown. Up the Dub's 👊☘️

Really sorry to hear of May's passing last week, glad to have met her many times and recorded her where she belonged and loved so much...Moore Street...a total one-off, a real Molly Malone, ...

I lived 2 doors away from "Missus Kavanagh" as I knew her. Played with her grandkids from the next block over. John Kavanagh. I swear to you, he would have been some rugby player. He could run and dodge like no other.
