Any experience with a Rubbermaid stock tank and condensation? Planning to keep it in the house so it won’t be as hot compared to outside but don’t want condensation dripping in the house..

The only cold plunge that I've had that doesn't get condensation is the Ice Barrel 300. Since it will be inside, it might not get as much since the temp difference won't be as extreme. Definitely keep a mat underneath it!

I'm considering buying the Ice Barrel 300. I live in California and in summer the temp can go from 90-110's. I keep going back and forth on which chiller I should get. What would you recommend for brand, horse power, and can withstand this heat?

I do think for those temps, the IB300 or IB500 are definitely your best bet. Even in direct sunlight, they manage to maintain temps really well compared to most other cold plunges. Because of that, you don't really need as power of a chiller (i.e. 1 to 1.5HP). I personally think the 1/2HP chiller is the sweetspot when it comes to efficiency and power. Active aqua has a great chiller. Penguin is mentioned a lot. I have two different ones from Warrior Willpower and they've worked really well too. Check out this recent video where I stress test their tub and chiller in 97F heat: ruclips.net/video/af9Jl-HtGTo/видео.html

@@Recovatech I was thinking of investing in the Warrior WIllpower pro 1/2hp water chiller. I've seen a few of your videos and sounds like it's working for you. My only concern is if it will keep my water cool in this heat and running up my electrical bill. For longevity do you just keep your chillers in the shade, on waterproof mats, or anything special? Also did you need any special outlets for your water chillers?

@@b.minhas I get it. Like I said, if you go with the IB, the nice thing about it is that since it's insulated so well, your chiller is going to work a lot less. And yeah, I would absolutely recommend keeping the chiller in the shade, even if it was just placing an outdoor side table over it. The less sun exposure the better. Also, keep it somewhere where it has good air flow. Mine are kept outside under a gazebo. For safety, get yourself a GFCI outdoor rated extension plug and you should be good.

Warrior willpower has an insulated spartan warrior barrel. Do you think that is worth it from their inflatable in this video?

I had their barrel in the past and really liked it a lot. Either one is a good choice. It will really depend whether you prefer to lie down or be more upright when you plunge.

    Very helpful. Thank you!
I’ve been thinking of getting that warrior willpower inflatable tub but the lack of insulation definitely concerns me.

It’s definitely a mixed bag. I’ve been using that inflatable for about a month now and I really do like it. The size and ability to lie down are a huge bonus. But yeah, after a day the water temp will rise 10 degrees or so. With the 1/2hp chiller hooked up, it will bring it back down within an hour or so. As long as you have a good chiller, you’ll probably really like it.

@@Recovatechthank you! Which do you personally prefer between the Warrior tub and Ice Barrel 300? Watching some of your other videos has me leaning towards ice barrell for the insulation - especially since I’m in a hot climate like Texas.
What’s your climate? appreciate your input!

@@PrimeAutotainmentsurprisingly, I kind of like the room of the inflatable, but the efficiency of the IB can’t be beat. The chiller runs less and the water stays colder for a lot longer.

Did the warrior come with the hook ups or did you DIY it
