Very handy future for sure! Now i do not have to fiddle so much in the menus. I assigned it to a function button. One thing to be aware of is that the favorite function also saves the selected Pixel to Pixel or Full mode. So if you shoot in Full mode and select a favorite that has the Pixel to Pixel you might mistakenly shoot in the wrong mode. I did that!
Ha ha, back to the drawing board getting it all set up. It's a shame that you can't just export your settings from the GH6, that would have been handy.
I don't *think* there is, I think it is just a case of they sit in the order that you add them in unfortunately. Worth sticking a feature request to Panasonic, I would find that really useful as you would then be able to group them by system frequency and pixel/pixel etc.
At the 0:14 mark, next to your F4.0 data...there's a -3 on the screen. What's that for ? And does it change ? Can you disable it / hide it from the screen ?!
That is awesome. Actually I've preprogrammed the Custom 1-4, then press Q. This is a great option. BTW, do you color grade or use LUTs? If the latter, do you use Leeming nuts or others? I'm not a colorist and prefer to use someone else's tried/trued LUTs. Thank you.
Glad to hear it is all coming together. I do on some projects, but I only really stick to the Panasonic LUTs and then do some tweaks around those. The Leeming LUT for the GH series was designed for V-LogL so you may need the S-series one for V-Log if you did go that route. I am sure they would confirm which was right before you bought it. It's worth also knowing that you will need to make tweaks to things like custom white balance, sharpening, saturation and shoot ETTR to get the best out of that LUT. If you are starting out, I would suggest trying the official Panasonic ones and go from there. They are free to download, so you have nothing to lose.
Thank you for all of these guides. You're the only one on RUclips who has this many in depth tutorials. Great work.
You are welcome, glad you are finding them helpful 👍
thanks mate!
No problem, glad you found it useful 👍

Oh that's interesting. Thanks for letting me know, I didn't realise that 🙂 I will make sure to keep that in mind
Needed a review. Have yet to fully program my G9ii,.

Do you know if there is a way to reorder My List? Or do you need to delete them all and add them in a particular order?
