I am a person who hates lemons and citrus... I was always interested in devotion but hated the lemon in it. When I bought Burberry goddess they gave me a sample for D&G devotion, I was so surprised and I like it alot! it is not "citrusy lemon" its more of a candy lemon with vanilla... it smells nice! I want a full bottle
I love lemon and I will be talking about Devotion soon. Definitely was a surprise

I didnt like Devotion when I smelled it on the tester butbon my skin...the dry down is great! I used BBW Snowflake Cashmere, which is a vanilla lotion, to pair with it. I feel pulling the vanilla out is better. I do like it❤
Silver Moon sounds so good. 💖 anything with vanilla + almond just makes me want to instantly buy the perfume 😅🤤💕

I ordered D&G Devotion (blind buy) & it's supposed to arrive today. I love lemon cake scents so much and I cannot wait to wear it/try it with iced lemon pound cake from B& BW! I've been waiting so long to grab Lira but have held off due to the cost. But if this satisfies my craving for that scent profile then I'll probably just stick with this
I hope you love it. I was a bit let down also blind got it got it yesterday I didn’t get as much citrus as others are saying, but I ended up layering it with tangerine boy and it’s much better 🧡
@@kristinmary4025 Thank you! I received it and I sprayed it on and I really like it. I can't say love just yet because I agree at first I got that really strong citrus in the opening, in the dry down the citrus definitely fades to the background on my skin and an airy sweet vanilla with a hint of citrus is left behind. It really is pretty reminiscent of B&BW iced lemon pound cake that I do enjoy, it just does leave a little more to be desired from the citrus part of it. I love your suggestion for tangerine boy I'll have to look into it!

The opening is almost too much for me but just when Im about to change my mind on it the dry down comes through and I love it!!! 🥰❤️ it’s a airy, fluffy, sugary vanilla with a hint of lemon. If it stayed as sharp as the opening I don’t think I would’ve been able to wear it 🥴
I always take Pacifica fragrances to Mexico when I travel. The Guava one and the blood orange... love. I also live for the way you say papaya.

I blind bought devotion and Burberry goddess .devotions just OK I barely got any citrus out of it, but I layered it with tangerine boy, and it’s really good together. Now Burberry goddess was love at first sniff I went and layered it with vanilla 28 just for the heck of it. Of course I love it. Maybe my favorite vanilla scent.

Im happy you are loving Burberry goddess and wow how crazy how we get different notes In fragrances. The more I test the devotion the opening is so strong on the lemon it almost gets cloying but then it starts to smooth out and that’s when I fall in love with it because it turns so sugary sweet vanilla on my skin with a light hint of lemon. 😊
Devotion opening was a blast of bitter lemon 🍋 for me ! The lemon in this is strong! DO NOT BLIND BUY!!!

In Sweden where I live the Valentino Donna Born in Roma Pink PP just came out and it's called Valentino Born in Roma Donna Rendez-Vous here.
Ordered silver moon during prime day. I can’t wait to smell it! 😊I wanted to smell it at the store but the tester was empty. I hope it’s as good as everyone says it is. I have island vanilla, which I like. I just wish the smell didn’t fade so fast. I’m trying to use it up because people say the Pacifica perfumes tend to go bad quickly (due to the natural ingredients).
I have to smell Devotion soon! Hopefully the next time I go to Ulta or Sephora, they will have that one and DBIR pink pp testers, so I can give it a sniff.
I tried D&G Devotion today at a Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada. Hated the opening I almost didn’t bring the paper home but I did and I love how it smells now. I need to try it on my skin next time. What time of year would you say it’s for?❤

Yay! I’m glad you love them too! The new D&G can be a little sharp and strong in the opening so that is not my favorite part but the dry down is so damn good! It completely transforms on the skin after a few minutes! 🥰❤️

V canto is the sister house of tiziana terenzi so if people don't jive with tiziana terenzi perfumes I say go smell some from v canto.some in my collection I love are stricnina and mirabelle. Both lovely.i have to try the one you have it sounds really good.😊❤
V canto fragrances have always been one of my favorite houses 😊 very luxurious and smooth amazing haul! Im waiting on devotion I bought it for the bottle ( I’m strange like that 😂) I hope the juice works on me lol 🙌
V Canto "Lucrethia" is a very close match to YSL "Black Opium" but it is less sugar(ey) and it lasts longer.

Use my pacific coconut for layering the coconut. On its own Pacific doesn’t have very good saying power but layer it cloud pink it sticks💗

Pop heart is so beautiful 🥰❤️ And I remember the fleur terrible being a little more on the fruity side but I didn’t keep that one around too long and returned it 😓🤣 the V canto is more floral with dewy fresh notes surrounding it so that it isn’t super floral or sharp. I do need to wear it more because I’ve seen reviews saying the dry down gets more grown and sexy so I’m super curious to see how that one will wear 🥰❤️
