I did mention on an older video you can place your furniture chairs in a way to decrease traffic over your carpet. In the bedroom use smaller rugs in solid colours on top of your carpet especially on the side you use a lot

Ms. Fle, you need a battered operated vacuum to keep up with the rugs. It's very difficult to maintain the rugs without a vacum. Your rugs want last long the way that you are clean them. They will lose their color and look real fast. If you are going to keep rugs in your home, it's better to invest in getting you a vacuum.
@Miss Fle that rug should not be washes.you needed to buy a dry product to clean it. Rugs like that will rot from all of that water. It will break down the back also. You really need to buy a vacuum cleaner to help maintain the rugs. I really hope the rugs don’t develope mold. They do that when water gets to the back. I hope this was helpful. The cleaning you did with wate,soap & a broom not necessary every month...this will RUIN your carpet.licquid accidents need a rag to clean the area.there also is special shampoo for carpets used with a carpet shampooer.
