Sad that these are considered affordable these days. Wasn't that long you could get a fairly decently optioned out truck for these prices.

I bought a 2008 Ford F150 Crew cab, w/the 6 1/2 foot bed, brand new. The sticker on that truck was 35k and some change. It had the 5.4 triton, 4x4, 3.73 gears. It's crazy where truck prices have gone.

No one should be paying anywhere near MSRP for ANY OF THESE. Get on cargurus, search nationwide, find the best deal, take it to local dealer for match+shipping/travel expenses, or go get the best deal. Rams are 10-20K off, and Fords and GM's are available in the high 30's low 40's depending on options. Paying sticker for any of these is like buying something NOT on sale at Kohls, you should have your head examined if doing so.

New 2 the channel and new subscriber after enjoying your solid review of these 3 specific trucks. I wish however you would have shown the window sticker highlighting the "added" options. As I'm sure you know that most of the options you seem disappointed in not being present on is only because it was not one of the options added..ie. bed liner is not standard but actually optional. Also may as well throw in the Toyota Tundra so you cover all 4 major full size trucks to choose from. Other than that I look forward to watching your library of videos! 🙂

For this to be a fair comparison the Ram would need the Pentastar. The only good Chevy engine right now is the Duramax, considering the V8’s active fuel management system is causing catastrophic failure. The Ram hurricane is apparently misfiring at 1,000 miles. Ford still offers the 5.0, they have fixed the issues on their V6’s and 10-speed. Ben, you can still spec a Ford and Ram with a bed liner.

Multiple sources including SHAP itself reporting misfires on new hurricane engine. 2 base powertrains making low 300 horsepower and then an over 400 horsepower in the mix. @@MrSnowGross Hell no the 5.7 hemi is the worst one of them all. Ram was never known for reliability. I’d rather get a Ford 5.0 or a Chevy 6.2 or 2.7
