We used to have raves there when I was younger. Also it is a well known spot for magick rituals.

I'm amazed at how much the castle has changed in a year since I was there (more graffiti, more worn down). I sure hope the fence is an indication that they're considering doing something with it 🤔. Glad you still got to explore it! 😄 It's an awesome piece of history, I hope it can get restored one day. I know fences and signs can never truly keep us or anyone away from cool places like that 😆.

Heck yeah, although I guess that's the sad thing about abandoned places, they can't exactly improve in condition, they can only really deteriorate as time goes on, unless they get bought and repurposed.

I trust that either before or after this, you stopped by Arthur Bryant's for some great BBQ? Also, this is one of the first S&C videos that I watched a few years ago. The thumbnail of two "kids" kept showing up, and since I knew about the Workhouse Castle, I figured what the hell. Little did I know they started out in this area. Maybe some day you'll have millions of followers too!

@@JaredCokerUrbex They turned the firehouse into a black history museum of sorts, I wish they'd have preserved the old jail/castle too
