Nice video! I have a 2021 300 RE, absolutely love it. I’m 5’9”, 185 lbs, adjusted the sag and forks, and every time I ride I love it more. Great snap when I need it, and will still crawl and lug up all the technical stuff Moab can throw at me. I have been tempted with the newer TPI’s and TBI’s, but then I get on the Beta again and cannot justify getting rid of it. I did replace the stock seat with a Seat Concept comfort seat. Helps a ton for my old butt.
That great feedback and similar to my impressions of the beta. The combination of torque, tractability and suspension performance make it easy to ride and confidence inspiring. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thanks for watching! There’s a few additional rides posted on our channel. So far, I’m really liking the bike particularly the low end grunt and suspension feel. Jon just bought the 24 300 xcw so we’ve been comparing impressions of both bikes.
So far so good with the beta. I’m enjoying the engine and suspension. The BYOB is a great program. Wish I was more patient to do that. If you happen to buy the bullet proof designs radiator guards, make sure that beta gives you the correct fitting ones. Thanks for watching!
You're comparing a 2024 Beta to an older KTM XCW. The 2024 XCW TBI is much better than the Beta in all ways. Go compare those and you will be super surprised with how the KTM is a all around better ride.
your a good rider. I find after 7 hrs on my 24- 300 race that 2nd gear is a touch tall, maybe a 50 tooth sprocket would fix that for the tighter slower terrain. For racing its fine. I get a sensation that the bike wants to stand up in corners though, and then kinda knife on the exits.... which is odd to me coming off yz250's they didn't do that at all. Still working on the beta's setup and to be honest im struggling bad. Felt so much smoother on yz250's in the corners and i just can't seem to trust the front end staying planted on this beta.
Thanks for the complement. I agree that 2nd gear is taller on the beta but I like that because I always felt caught between 2nd and 3rd on my xcw. I’ll pay more attention on the next ride to see if I get that same feeling that you mention. Thanks!
I have the same KTM 280 hours on it and I really like it. But I’m contemplating buying saying the beta 300 RR race as a second bike. But I’m torn because the new KTM TBI is supposed to be lights out. Hard decision.
I have a few buddies who swear by KTM, took my 300RE out and they all came back stoked, and one guy said “it just takes care of you!”. 3 of the 5 sold their Austrian bikes and bought Italian!!
That’s good to hear. We’re not brand loyal but have had good experiences with the KTMs. Because of that it’s always hard to try something new. I’m liking the Beta so far and plan on doing some more comparison videos as I progress with the Beta. Thanks for watching!
@@Weekendwarriorsmoto I think you’ll be pleased with the reliability and performance over time. Other than routine maintenance, I’ve had to do nothing to my 300RE.
I've got a ktm 250, got to get myself a 300. Great video bro
Based on my time on it so far, I think you’ll like it. Thanks for the comment and for watching!

Great video. Looking to go to this bike from my '17 TE250 so I'm getting as much info as I can. Thanks for posting.

Nice vid. Good to hear your thoughts. I’m coming from ktm to beta. For a lot of reasons. I did byob and pick up in about 2 weeks. Can’t wait.

I’m loving my 24 300RE…M59 tubeliss in front with 7.5psi and V33s tubeliss rear with 4-4.5 is prime!
Sweet! Great to hear. Same tires but nitro mousse in rear and putting one on the front this week. Thanks for watching!
Top de mais. Um dia compro uma dessa parabens.
Aqui no brasil é muito cara .kkkk
Thanks for watching! I’d love to ride in Brazil when you get your bike. 😀
I like the m59 in the woods also
I agree. I usually run the x31 but that m59 is tough to beat. Thanks for watching!

I hope to do that soon! Thanks for watching!
Bull S###! I'm a ktm fan boy but the tbi isn't that great. Have you bought your tuner yet? You fowling plugs. Sensors going out...no thank you!

Also, have you tried lowering the fork position in the triple clamp? That should help give the front end of more stabile feel.
Great video what state are you from? Extremely nice trails.
Southwestern Pennsylvania. Thanks for watching!
What year and model was the Ktm that you got rid of?
Well, I haven’t sold it because I may keep it. 2022 KTM 300 xc-w. Great bike. Take a look at my new bike day video
If you like nice trails, watch the mountain ridge videos that I have on my channel. Best single track in Pennsylvania

I have a 23 200 that I really like
Yeah that 200 is a great bike. Everyone seems to love it!
Was this your first ride? Are you not supposed to break it in gently?
Yes, first woods ride but I did cycle it a couple times in advance. I took it easy on it 😀. Thanks for watching!
@@Weekendwarriorsmoto Ah, okay. Cool ride!
It’s running great! We’ll have some more ride videos up soon.
Betas all the way
I’ll soon see 😀. Thanks for watching!

@@Natedoc808I’m sure you’re right! Second single track ride this Saturday. Can’t wait to get more time on this bike.
