I grew up in Davenport and left in 1971 for the Air Force and retired in 91… but injuries I had caused me to live in Arizona. After living in the Phoenix area, we’re tired of being roasted every summer. And those injuries from the mid 70’s whilst assigned to the Pentagon came back- and it brought lots of fun and I’m now 100% disabled. I found some money and we’re building a house in Payson with a wooden floor and clean air-and a whole lot of people don’t live there since it’s a great place for retirees..
Moline is pronounced “Mo lean” 😊 some people from outside the area might not know that. There is another town near there called Milan Illinois. It’s pronounced “My Lan” That is another one that confuses people.
Number one pro is that despite the Illinois property tax properties themselves are much more affordable if you compare them to other cities.
How is the infrastructure for electric cars in the quad cities? Many people have electric cars now.
We definitely have chargers around here. It is a little lacking but you do have the option if you have an electric car.
@@LIVINGINTHEQUADCITIES I personally don’t have one but some people who do might want to know that.
Definitely agree. I may need to incorporate that into a future video
not many but a few people have electric cars.
Sabula Iowa was not always an island. It became an island in the 1930s when the locks and dam systems were constructed.

Do the quad cities get Shad flies like we do in Savanna Illinois? 😮
Have you thought about breaking down the cost of living in the Quad Cities from lowest to highest?
Not a bad idea
