Which EV that you have owned or just driven thus far is the most comfortable? I'm not talking about seat comfort etc., but the most comfortable going over standard road bumps and imperfections. Most luxury like and least jarring.
I would say a tie between ID.4 and Model 3 Refresh. Equinox is a close second. At first I thought it was close to the ID.4, but I’ve been noticing it isn’t as good suspension-wise.
well see the problem was... it's a Tesla ive been in quite a few teslas and im yet to find one that has a higher build quality and comfort factor than my lexus
I think you can change your point a little :) Finding a car more comfortable than a Lexus is near impossible. A LS is like sitting in the best Lazy Boy ever invented. You feel nothing on the road, it is quiet. Get into a BMW and it things are stiffer and you feel the road. You wonder if you should have some car driving gloves! Sit in a Mercedes and it is in between the BMW and the Lexus. Build quality is subjective. If you are going to argue that gaps are a build quality issue, then yes, there are quality issues. HOWEVER, if you want to talk about service issues and classify those as quality issues, the Tesla wins over the Lexus, the Mercedes, the BMW.
@@davidbergerson while I wish I could afford an LS I have the IS350 (2017-19 style cause the refresh is ugly and then they got discontinued in Australia) And I love it. I considered the 2017 LS because it was the last with the V8 engine but they were and still are ugly Btw when I talk about build quality I mean the interior materials. Tesla is nowhere near as bad as Mercedes in the creeks but they are substantially more than most Toyota vehicles (even my friend’s 2000 Camry doesn’t make a sound and that has nearly 250k on the odometer) And I agree not having to service your car is nice but I’d rather service my car and be more comfortable and have fun driving than drive a Tesla just for the service
@@himynameisryan You will get little disagreement with me on the interior components of a Lexus compared to a Tesla. I had a Lexus and loved it. It was the most comfortable car. It was so smooth. It had a feather touch to steer. I have had a Mercedes (POS!), BMW (I hated the service) and IMO, the Tesla is comparable to the BMW internally, probably a push to the Mercedes (some very bad issues with the plastic in it, but on the whole nice.) Ironically, I have put a Model S on order 3 times and cancelled all 3 times. Why? Because my comment was . . . If I am going to spend 100k on a car, it had better be comfortable. The seats were not up to what I was expecting. Each order was when they came out with a new revision of the seats. Now, they are at Rev 4 of the seats and I wound up with a Model Y. I am holding out to see how well Lucid does because I think their interior has the fit and finish that I want, I just need to make sure they will survive and their software is not horrendous. I have done 2600 mile trips in a Tesla. It gives comfort in a different way. Their adaptive cruise control is VERY good. It is interesting how doing long drives without ever having to put your foot on the pedal makes the trip a lot more relaxing.
@@davidbergerson I mean Lexus have some bad models don’t get me wrong (especially the RX) But at least every sedan I’ve been in (IS from 2017, 2022 ES, 2020 IS, that ugly 2017 LS460) do not have a single low quality interior component If you watch the car care nut review’s video on the Tesla model Y you will see pretty much all the problems I have with the interior summed up And the low quality interior + comfort is the major reason when I drove my Lexus into the Tesla dealership for a test drive, I drove it right back out And I’ve not been in a BMW for many years so I cannot comment on that But if you’re saying it’s on par with Tesla quality I probably wouldn’t buy one
Looking forward to your upcoming Equinox reviews.
I've driven my friend's Kona EV and it was a very good vehicle for a small SUV. I couldn't get over how quiet and peppy it was to drive.
Love and miss the Kona!
Honestly, the headlight faults was likely a failing HID ballast or bulb.

When you are talking to people they want to see your eyes. I realize it is sunny, but still.
If I’m being honest, sometimes I look at the video and not the camera too. I always forget to look at the camera 🤣🤣🤣 I appreciate the honest feedback.
EVs are POS.
Would you care to elaborate? Would love to hear your reasoning.
