Tim Curry, Mark Hamill, Michael Dorn. So many awesome people in it. Gabriel knight is one of my most favorite Sierra Games that I do own. Also a reason why I did buy the 20th anniversery edition. Wishing for a 4th game of it. Jane Jensen did some great story there.
I loved this game. I wish they would bring back all of the Gabriel Knight games ported over to currrent game systems and PCs. They were some of the best storytelling experiences in a game.
GOG.com has all three original Gabriel Knight games plus the Sins of the Fathers reboot for sale. These are all able to run on Win Vista through 10 via DOSbox (installs with the game). So, basically, you can have your wish!

i love how tim curry got the biggest shout out if you will, compared to mark hamill, yet its mark hamill who's now a voiceover legend these days, thanks to being an awesome version of the joker. the force is strong with this one i sense does i...sense...in the force....ahem.
Still waiting for a movie. Don't understand, why there isn't much interest in it. The setting and plot haven't been overdone yet. Maybe something in the mood of 'The Ninth Gate'... 🤔
Such a Shame.. SIERRA was one of the best Game Developers... they destroyed it... All their games were awesome... all this shit started with Outpost Sierra unfinished game... :(
Yes, after the initial irritations about the changes in the depiction of the characters i really liked the second one, too. Sadly the third was unplayable though.
@@jensscholz it's just the graphics. I beat the game once and couldn't bring myself to replay it again. Maybe if there was a remake or mod. Nah not that great of a game. They ruined it

I played it this year. The remake. And although I enjoyed it very much, I missed Curry and Hamill's voice overs very much. :(
Just finished playing it with my girlfriend, we had a blast! And luckily the internet avaliable for the few times we got stuck

It's such a shame that the original recordings were lost.
You still get the original game with all the classic dialogues (e.g. on GOG or Steam).

ive never clocked this game yet, but i love how well the lip sync is on this for the portrait convos. good lip sync was a rare thing back then.
Love this, brings me back to so many memories and fun playing GK 1!

I use to like Gabriel knight ii beast within until I realize it had gay moments in it. It ruins it. The first one is good. Second one okay.
