I work with sheet metal and have done since I was an apprentice in 1986 . It amazes me what BnO can do with aluminium it’s masterful.

Great video again Steve. Incredibly motivating stuff, and it's intriguing to see what design processes Noto Design use to create products for Bang & Olufsen. An excellent summary of the various development methods Noto brings to the table. It's also intriguing to see that they make reference to the Beomaster 1900 period.

Hello Steve. Great content. A quick query, I’m currently running a pair of Beovox Penta’s through a Beomaster 7000 amp. Could I add a pair of Beolab 6000’s simultaneously to the setup? Or is it inadvisable to run passive speakers with active ones?

Hi, glad you liked the video! Yes, this is possible as you can use both active and passive speakers together on this system. Please ask at soundsheavenly.com if you need any help with cables!

Hi I ve got a marantz 7706 preamp and I want to use Xlr s out
    I ve also got 4 x 7.4 and 6 x 7.1 and a beolab 10 plus 2 beolabs 2 subs
It’s a Dolby atmos 11.2 system that I m creating and I wonder if you can help me with wires
I am thinking Xlr sends groud hot cold
I could use hot for left one cold(inversed) for right for each centre
If I m correct beolabs with powerlink 8 din do not do anything to the signal and treats it as unbalanced
Also I suspect each centre is stereo so …I don t know ….if signal reversed right va left will that create stereophony effect and cancel out the bass ?
Beolab 10 is mono I think unsure if it takes balanced?
Subwoofers beolab 2 same story like beolab 10 I suspect ?
I know this is out of your normal 2x Rca +5v usb trigger using 4 pins out of 8 practice but could this work ? Could you help?
    Thank you.

Hi, please don’t use XLR for Beolab speakers as the signal levels are too high. Please email me via my website at soundsheavenly.com with the full details of your setup and I can help you with alternative connections
