Spontaneous covers like this are always awesome; some of my band's best songs were born out of moments like these. Is it perfect? No, but it doesn't have to be. It's Primal Scream....know what I mean?
Doesn't really matter whether the cover is perfect or not, when you have written classics like "Higher than the Sun", Come Together", "Loaded" and "Don't fight it feel it" you could retire in the proving it stakes right there ✌️
This song has been written for Jagger vocals altought few people can give it justice. Bobby is not a great singer but at least is being himself. He is a great fan of the stones and I guess this is a kind of tribute. Peace and love.
Primal Scream are a great band, even though they don't really do themselves justice here. Me and my mates down the pub could do a better job of covering this. :) But it's enough that they too have seen the awesome immensity of that Stones performance on 'Get Yer Ya-Yas Out'. It is one of the great moments of rock and roll, and those of us who play guitar music will never forget it.
