🤦♀️ Old women believe any guy that says he's a DR.
Haha. Love the ingredients list of marshmallows. It's like playing one of those creativity questions: 'how many ways can you write out the word sugar'
😅

Just managed to finally grow some marshmallow plants.... researching for best spot to plant it and came across thus video ... thanks
I have the marshmallow root powder. Is this something that you can take every day or is it more medicinal and taken occasionally?
"Other than that you are totally fine" 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭
Good stuff Dr.Berg,……..just for fun though, there are many good healthy Marshmallow keto recipes that are quite healthy. I enjoy this alternative with no damage to my health. Love, blessings and great health to you Dr. and all humans,💖🙏🏼🤗
Hello doctor, this was a wonderful and informative video..
Just wanted to start off by saying I am a huge fan and watch your videos for knowledge and entertainment, whenever I get the chance.
Thanks to you, I have thrown away lots of unhealthy habits in my life such as sugar, junk food, sodas and etc..
However one thing that I am having trouble managing and quitting is vaping. I know it is bad for me, but I am physically addicted to the nicotine.
Might I suggest making a video addressing the dangers of vaping and the benefits of quitting (within a week, month, year)?
Thank you, Dr. Berg. Have a great day.
Taking bentonite clay will help you purge the nicotine from your body which will reduce the urge to take it in the first place. Maybe you should try and nicotine fast and then take the bentonite clay?
Fardin Khan - Dr. Deepak Chopra, an expert in Ayurveda, teaches to ask your body what IT wants. Put ALL of your focus on what you are doing and pay attention to what your body tells you. If you still insist on smoking/vaping or whatever, go ahead, but notice how your body reacts to whatever you are inflicting upon it. Do this EVERY time you have the urge to do anything that you KNOW is harmful to your amazing body. The majority of people who consistently do this, will eventually quit. It might not happen overnight, but the process of tuning in to how your body responds to ANY substance, is a good thing. Be good to your body and it will be good to you!! I pray that you are successful in the elimination of such things.
Thank you
Good morning Doctor🤕! My question is how do you use it/prepare it so that it will be beneficial!?
Great question, but i know one way is by buying it in capsule form at the pharmacy.
Soak it in water overnight, do not boil it.
Dr. Berg , Saving lives one video at a time. Happy Holidays Doc...
شكرا💐
First word I saw-was .........
Marshmallow.......umm......
Then--root. Oh.
Update: early morning sense of humor; But definitely always fascinated by Dr. Berg’s research articles online[RUclips].
God bless.
Lots of homemade marshmallow recipes on Pinterest for Keto!! Marshmallows and marshmallow fluff too! EZ to make.
In what form do you take this for gastritis? Are there any toxic components in it similar to those of licorice which need to be removed in order to use it efficiently for curing inflammation in the stomach? Which is most beneficial for healing inflammatory conditions? Powder, capsule or tea form? Would appreciate it if you reply asap to this. I'm in dire need of help. Have had gastritis for 7 years now.
Thank you Dr Berg, how people take marshmallows roots for colon cleansing? I heard of it but I don't know how. Can you please make a video on that?
When do you take it?
I made some artwork using marshmallows in 2014. It’s still holding up the shape/flavor/color five years later. I’d never consume marshmallows unless I want to turn myself into a mummy or something without preservatives.
hahaha very good sense of humor, love it 🤣
Does anyone know what I can take for an inflammed esophagus? The doctor prescribed Dexilant, but I don't want to take that stuff. I know we need our stomach acid(I'm not trying to get rid of it)...thanking you in advance or is the Marshmallow Root(tea) good for esophagus as well the throat?
Marshmallow root is also beneficial for interstitial cystitis, or painful bladder syndrome. It helps “coat” the inside of the bladder, in order to soothe and help protect it from irritants.
It may not work for everyone, but it does help a lot of people with the condition.
Will it reduce my bladder swelling (trabeculation of bladder wall 5mm-6mm thickening)?
How to take it?
That Egyptian recipe is a way gone by now, but I imagine it's in another form now; sold by Egyptian street sellers, possibly Nadagha نداغه or a kind of native chewing gum, or it's the origin of the Turkish or Italian Nougat candy, or Nouga as we call it across Arab countries.
💕😁Great!
Thank you.
Wondering if there's a way to soak and add Marshmallow root to keto bread?
LOL, 1. Marshmallow- knowing how bad they are makes them less appealing, thanks. 2. It's good to know how to use all of the herbs and plants. It's like knowing the benefits of vitamin C , I don't always take it but know what it is when I need it. Thank you.
If I’m having inflammation in my gut… then how many times a day do you think I should have marshmallow root tea?
Its time for keto marshmallows to be spawned
They do make keto marshmallows.they are called max mallows.2krazyketos on youtube did video showed them and tasted they were in the december keto krate.they tasted the caramels ones but thet come in classic vanilla just google max mallows.
Several recipes out there. Kristie Sullivan has the best recipe!
Hey Doc, just a heads up - all those checkmarks and underlines you make, we can't see them on the video lol.
I had never even heard of marshmallow root before this morning... LOL!
They take many 'good for you' natural substances and turn them into garbage.
Nice
🎶In Winter, it's a marshmallow world🎵
What about DIY marshmallows, made with erythritol and collagelatin? Or the ATP science Mallow bars?
It's in a hand cream I buy, it's very healing. 🤲 Anyone here remember Pink & Whites, years ago at Weight Watchers they said we could eat them because they were virtually Fat free. Lol. & I remember Flumps too, or maybe that was just in the UK. Thank you for sharing this important information with us all, take care, & Happy Weekend to you to. ❤🙂🐶⛄🎅🎄
I've known a LOT of people who've done Weight Watchers, for YEARS. A few may have lost a few pounds, but ALWAYS gained it back, and then some! One of them was an obese medical doctor! Yeah, she's STILL fat!
@@vickieturner8688 Yep Vickie, I know people that still do it, & they buy the WW foods to, they're full off Franken-ingredients. It was a total waste of money for me, Luckily I didn't do it for long. Take care, & Happy Christmas to you & yours Vickie. ❤🙂🐶⛄🎅🎄

Is this Marmallow root available in the ordinary market?where can we buy them?how to prepare

Thank you for your kind response.
Any weigh and pay shop has it. Or health food store
What if we make it from scratch at home with sugar alternative
You got me there Dr. Berg. 😂
I had a good laugh when I saw the title. Had to watch this while eating my salad, I wanted to enjoy hearing about them dirty marshmallows😂
Dig the way you think about how most people perceive their food sources and then turn it into an opportunity to show us a better way to think.
I'm searching for marshmallow songs and this came up ..lol never expected this😂😂😂😂😂

Thank you Dr. Berg Your The Best🌟 I remember eating tons of Marshmallows during Thanksgiving😕
Not anymore, when they say sugar is Poison believe them!!!! God Bless You and All Your Family Dr. Berg FOREVER AMEN🙇♀️✝️🙏
🤦♀️ sugar *never* hurt me !!
@@SUGAR_XYLER Your lucky. As soon as I eat anything with sugar, it triggers the pain throughout my body.
Got worried for a min. Just added root to my smoothie.
Can you do a video on how to reduce mucus in the throat? Any vitamins that might work for that?
I could really use that information right about now.
Drillz88 I believe he did a video and mentioned that Calcium at night would help that. I take a magnesium and Calcium supplement at night.
Anything sweet or creamy like milk and cheese, allergies or colds, smoking...all increase mucus. I cut out all dairy and my mucus decreased. Plus I lost a little weight and my digestion improved! I cheat on the cheese every now and then though!
@@JamieCamile495 Thank you for the quick and well informed response. :D
I didn't know cheese could do that.
Drillz88 you’re welcome. I try and help any way I can. I’ve brought my own body out of sickness for the past 7 years. It’s been a long road that I didn’t think I could do.
Eliminate dairy for a week or two you may see results and know to stay away from it 🤞🏽
Thx 4 the info, doc! Have a great day every1! 👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤❤
Damn with the photo I thought he was gonna say marshmellos was a super food lol.
I know this is a tad dated but my wife has diverticulitis and wanted to try this. We got the droplets Natures Answers - so she tried few drops on her arm and got a raised rash.
I guess we got our answer but can it still be ingested?
The root creates a mucilage coating the stomach lining.. Seems like you bought a tincture.. probably made with leaves. Because if you add the root powder it expand. How does testing topically in the arm scientifically tell you anything about internal benefit is a bewilderment
What's wrong with gelatin, Dr Berg?
Super
If it’s a thick gluey substance, could it act as a gluten substitute?🤔
Does maltodextrin affect your insulin
Never ever saw the point of eating marshmallows...never.
YES!! Dr. B, I have some marshmallow root drops for DIY hair products.
CarrieToo lucky Charms cereal lol
@@moe1203 Cute.
Would this work to help with allergies since it effects sinuses?
If you cut out all grains and I do mean all, your allergies will disappear.
@@VickiTakacs.ah yes. That would somehow prevent pollen everywhere, from trees, shrubs, grass, flowers, anywhere from getting into someone’s nose. Just by cutting grains from their diet.
@@VickiTakacs.oh! And let us not forgot animal dander and dust. Oh wait…neither of those are grains. Yet both can cause sinus problems. Of course so does living near farming areas where they harvest from the land and cause everything to get in the air. Fires don’t help either.
I can't eat them. They have pork (in gelatin) usually 😣🤦😯🙁great video 👌 have an amazing day ✨
There's no pork in marshmallow root. It's literally a plant.
Wait....gelatin? what about the "other" stuff in a marshmallow?
Most gelatin in the U.S. is fake and is actually not real gelatin like in the old days. Gelatin is made by boiling bones, joints, skin with hair and feet to death until it forms a gelatin. Nowadays, this is no longer done. They use water, starch and something else to thicken certain products and call this mixture "gelatin". I researched this back in 2010.
Mieka fasting weight loss me too😓

Can you make a keto equivalent to a marshmallow?
Affter reading the headline i jumped overthinking about i can eat marshmallows
But sad in video..
RIP Marshmallow
Hi
Dagnabbit...I eat marshmallows by the handfuls...mini marshmallows. Yummy! 🤗😋
Kosher Marshmallows which contain fish gelatin are better if you consume any marshmallow. Regular Marshmallows contain pork gelatin. Pork is one of the nastiest foods, besides shell fish, you can put in your body.
i take it everyday! its AMAZING! only thing that calms my stomach/ ulcers.
I have gerd .. is this beneficial?
@@yogita-758 no. Lol if you only have gerd you should be thankful it’s the easiest thing to treat. He has videos on it .

The interesting, I've noticed this 'marshmallow roots' in a cough syrup and was thinking it's a 'fad' or something -
Will now watch with interest -
Thanks as always for video's Dr Berg.
Exactly
Does anybody know if I am still in ketosis after a marshmallow root tea because of the high sugar it contains?
Marshmallow *root* tea does not have sugar unless you are adding sugar.
Marshmallow *root* is not the same as the marshmallow candy.
They have keto friendly marshmallow they're called max mallows.
Quick unrelated question_
If diabetic T2 patient takes insulin injection in stomach what does it help if insulin resistance, is it better absorbed, the person also says eye sight has improved since taking it.
Thanks
nnr2d m most likely it is reducing inflammation in the gut which will help a lot of problems. “Death begins in the colon” it is said.
@@markbryngelson5698 quite probable, almost certainly.
Interesting question... Wish I knew the answer. I thought only Type 1 took insulin injections.
@@criticalgeek3914 it's a strange one but I guess it's insulin dependent type 2 my father is type 2 and docs wanted to give him insulin too but they didn't as a change in medication seemed to help.
@@nnr2dm243 mm I live with a person that got type 2 diabetes, but after doing semi keto with me and regular exercise in the form of brisk walking for atleast 30 minutes each day(added to a active work day): we live in sweden but she ate a typical american diet for 3 years and got into trouble. She cut out sugars, except on ocations like birthdays, and I guess christmas. Down from every other day to 5 times a year so its huge progress there. Still not on keto diet but I force alot more veggies in the mix. from 3 tablets of metformin a day down to half a tablet everyother day. Its a tricky thing when I dont agree with the doctor... she lost about 30 kilograms, workout, eat 3-4 times a day with less snacking. Looks to me that doctors treat the symptoms not the cause when it comes to type 2 diabetes....I have alot of friends in their late 30s that got diagnosed with type 2, but started keto after I nagged them "alot" and they have regular bloodsugars, sleep better, loosing that extra weight they had, feel better, look better all of it. And no medications with regular bloodsugars, I know some of them do eat candy and chips and stuff everyother weekend still ;)
Marshmallow root and slippery elm for tummies. (admit guilt, now that he mentioned marshmallow, who's thinking about slipping off for a cup of hot chocolate? lol)
Honestly I'd buy front row tickets to his comedy / true health science road show ... should he decide to go on the road,
Your sarcasm comes through clearly here. But yes call it "marshmallow" and forget to leave in that ingredient. AHHH THE JOYS of modern FOOD.
is it good for leaky gut?
Yes it is
I still can't believe I used to eat this stuff!
I never knew anything about marshmallow root. Thank you Dr. Berg.
Best remedy for acid reflux
Keep it simple dude!!!
OK, I got it! Marshmellows are just fine. I use them in my desert: Condensed Milk, Honey, Golden Syrup, and Ice Cream, all blended together. Then add marshmellows and wine gums for texture.
Horrible!!!🤮
Ah so thats why its recommended its a root.
So messed up that there is no marshmallow at all in candy marshmallows!
🤣
So if i make my own marshmallows without the sugar and put the root in em were good right?
Yellow ones with eggyolk and white people??
just last nite i made a keto marshmallow homemade it is yummy and healthy

Does this root still exist?
Yes. You can still buy it, most often in powder form. There are also recipes to make marshmallows from marshmallow root. Along with substitutions for sugar or corn syrup depending on how you make it.
