Hi Maggie, Im wondering when you see a guide price against a house going up for auction,,, is this referring to the basic minimum bid needed or does it mean a rough guide of what they think the house is worth/// or might go for? ie; a house at 40, 000 euro at auction. ... could i bid 25, 000 ? I mean,, Im I trying to weigh up what I think its worth and placing an offer in at that price? Or am I trying to do that but also cut a little off to get it at a lower price? .... Or should i be doing the opposite is it the opposite... and bid a bit Higher than I think its worth/// or gonna go for? Help, Im a newbie, but wanting a lovely wee country house :-)
