    Several of the biggest market experts have been voicing their opinions on exactly how awful they think the next downturn would be, and how far equities may have to go, as recession draws closer and inflation continues well above the Fed's objective. I'm trying to build a portfolio of at least $850k by the time I'm 60, therefore I need suggestions on what investments to make........

      There are many other interesting stocks in many industries that you might follow. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.

      I've been in touch with a financial analyst ever since I started my business. Knowing today's culture The challenge is knowing when to purchase or sell when investing in trending stocks, which is pretty simple. On my portfolio, which has grown over $900k in a little over a year, my adviser chooses entry and exit orders.

    I'm thinking that one of those tiny stone fishermen's cottages on a nice desolate rocky outcrop sounds lovely, myself. I wonder what one might pay for something like that? My ideal property would be something like that, in a Gealtacht area. I've been trying with all my might to learn Irish, the immersion would help a lot! all I'd need is a decent road to get to town for supplies. Good video--thanks for all the inside info!

      I love the sound of them too! I’m totally one of those people who stares longingly at the piles of stones on the tops of cliffs and thinks even putting one of these back to its original size would be more than enough for me. Even in the depths of winter I’d love it! Maggie xx

    Hi Maggie I'm a single lady looking to live rural with my soon to be 2nd rescue Mastin,
    I love Roscommon and do not need visa to live in Ireland, I love your amazing gems you find, love a recap if the 30k home sold.
    My friends think I'm nuts with 70k budget but I'm very optimistic I can find my cosy cottage. Thank you I'll join your website.
    Love from West Sussex England ❤️

    Great tips, although not great news, all this stuff makes it harder. I don't think people really do bother with getting planning for Air b& b. I
    would love an old farmhouse by the sea, I hope it is not out of reach. Great show!

    Love your channel!!!! Thank you so much!!! I guess the question is 'what is land worth that one cannot use with a caravan or tent...let alone build on?

    • @CheapIrishHouses
      @CheapIrishHouses  2 года назад +2

      It’s worth a lot less 😂 technically then it’s classed as agricultural land so the price goes way down

    Glad to see you back and looking forward to the new show. Moving back to Ireland from the US next year (after almost 30 years away), so hoping to find something! Would love to see a video on some of the local issues on more inland properties (my sister tells me there can be issues for non-locals buying in some areas).

    • @animatewithdermot
      @animatewithdermot 3 года назад +1

      @@shoestringprepper Definitely might be an issue for some returning ex-pats (myself one of them). Also annoying given that the govt. does SFA about foreign vulture funds / cuckoo funds buying up Irish housing in bulk.

    Hello, I love your videos , they are most interesting and very helpful. I am new to the idea of moving to Ireland and I have many questions. If I buy a house for example , outside of Kinsale, do rental regulations apply to a small business and B&B whilst the owner lives in the same house ? Giving over one room in one's own house, is this considered as renting or not? I would appreciate very much if you gave me some advice on the issue . Thank You.

    I am retired now and though I love land and a farm it would be more practical to buy a place in town. Someplace I can walk to stores. Do you get those for sale?
