3:40 This part gives me chills but also makes me sad that I never played this game properly, just watched the cutscenes! Did it for XB3 as well and now I regret it, it's just not the same! I still love this series though.
Don’t ask why-it’s a very long story-but as someone who played Torna first before XB2 proper (which itself happened just a little over a week prior to this comment…in 2022) hearing this kick in after the somewhat slow opening, and realizing where in Gormott I had just emerged into…I didn’t think it’d hit me so hard. Like, I’m sitting there screaming, “Oh…! This is that spot you can get to from Lascham Cove and-OH, THIS MUSIC WHAT A REMIX” while, of course, understanding that it was Torna that gave us a remix, not this. …TL;DR I’m a XB2 newbie and this area/music damn near made me emotional
This music was so good but I'm going to be forever scarred from walking near the lake with the big tree in the middle right after starting the game and getting killed multiple times, all on my way to Gormott
I really dig the progression starting at 3:08. It shifts into a different tone than the normal song and I love it everyone time. Of course, the entire song is great, but this part always stands out to me
This track is honestly just unbelievable, like actually unfathomably good. Every little memory of roaming in Xenoblade 2's large overworld just comes flooding back in my mind when I'm listening to this. It's so grand, so fitting of a JRPG like this, I can't help but feel like being on Nintendo's underpowered consoles, Monolith simply has not been able to truly express its most authentic capabilities in game design, and despite these limitations still manages to make some of the most memorable and nostalgic experiences of all time. I seriously can't wait for the next console so they can just put every other developer to shame.

@@GrizbyK72 good point, but the buildup to it takes forever and then the part is not even that long
As much as i love xenoblade 3 this just desteoys milick meadows bgm
@Jonah Laining no it destroys especially the at the end. Millick meadows is basically 3 minutes of waiting to not be paid off.
The small guittar part at 3:53 made me feel weirdly nostalgic

4:26 *instrumental: running from a herd of Gogols across the forest. Running from a pack of Tirkin over a rickety bridge*
4:34 *sliding down a waterslide into a deep tunnel. Slashing down a hive of hornets*
4:42 *swinging a vine and bashing the head of a Gogol. Climbing a great cliff to the top of a waterfall*
4:49 XENOBLADE, WE SAY, WE WILL SAVE THE DAAAAAAYYY!
so goood
Holy macaroni
Friends startled like 10 ton gorilla come out of nowhere and started playing electric guitar
3:40 This part gives me chills but also makes me sad that I never played this game properly, just watched the cutscenes! Did it for XB3 as well and now I regret it, it's just not the same! I still love this series though.
Have you STILL NOT played them, even now?? (I hope you HAVE... 😬😓)
I’ve never wanted to play xenoblade chronicles 2 more than I do right now
What a masterpiece!!
"Don't ask why..."
Well, now I HAVE to know.
This music was so good but I'm going to be forever scarred from walking near the lake with the big tree in the middle right after starting the game and getting killed multiple times, all on my way to Gormott
Everybody complaining about Territorial Rotbart *but can we please talk about the level 75 birds scattered across the map?*
Already started loving Gormott, it’s is awesome!!
3:40
This made me Monado Bust
Just beat this game today its a masterpiece
In hindsight it's not too bad. Has some very questionable design decisions though.

Never played this game but this is my favorite from Smash Bros Ultimate.
Feels funny listening to this in the background as I play Dark Souls
Gaur Plains the sequel..
Love this song..
Not as iconic as the original, but oh so close.
this song is literally the best part of the entire game
Hello weary traveler! May I interest you in some flora to heal your aching soul?
I really dig the progression starting at 3:08. It shifts into a different tone than the normal song and I love it everyone time.
Of course, the entire song is great, but this part always stands out to me
Can you believe that you can get all of this stuff right out of the ground?!
Gonna admit i miss 2017 Christmas this game make 2017 better for me cause of storm maria and it just make me forget the bad stuff that happen in that storm.
Unpopular opinion: i prefer this theme to Gaur Plains.
In general, I prefer Xenoblade 2 to the first game.
