Fellow Andrew fans...comment and like so we can get our man up to 100K so that we continue to get these unbiased reviews. He's got a kid to put through college after all
I ended up ordering a set of the combo length irons from Avoda (took almost 3 months to get them) and have been using them for a few weeks. I really like them a lot, even the wedges (which is usually hard to adjust to in the one length style). They are def longer than my gamer set (Ping i230's), about a club longer. I really do like them, but the longer irons (4 and 5 iron) are not nearly as forgiving as the other irons in the set. I wish they were a bit cheaper but overall I am happy I bought them. They are staying in my bag for the rest of the year!
@@BigDawgCAM I knew nothing about the Avodas before buying the Cobra's. They are a lot cheaper for sure, but I love my Cobra's. Once you hit them, you'll love them
You might want to check out the loft of the 4 and 5 irons. Also standard length is approximately 1/2 shorter than some standard Oem manufacturers. Always trying to override physics… 😊
Looks like you have found the perfect irons! Your ball flight seems a wee bit high with the TM’s. Ok if you don’t play in a lot of wind. Why not try an iron or two with your perfect shaft? I play Miuras having left Mizuno for many years. I’m sure the quality of these irons are a bit better than most. Great review!
@@kidze73 these weren't my irons, these were irons the shop had and let me test for this video. My set of Avodas are in production now after my fitting with them last month. The one length/combo length portion of the fit is the next part to be uploaded (next week)
At this level of tech, possibly test a complete and full range of shafts: from Bryson’s shafts all the way thru other pros and finally to your personal favorites
No discount codes right now, you’ll just have to keep your eyes peeled for when they run sale/promotions like they did on Black Friday avodagolf.com?sca_ref=7671339.PmYhfHYbgu
The forgiveness was nice, but again, these weren’t fit for me… so there is definitely room for even more performance and forgiveness. I’ll be doing a fitting with Avoda in a couple weeks, for a video of course, so stay tuned for all that info

More videos on these please! Not a ton of reviews out there yet

Hahah thanks legend 👊🏼
Great review video again 🎉
Thank you!
Oh damn I’ve bought stuff from Rex golf shop on eBay! Always great stuff
Love to hear that!

Thanks so much for sharing that! I really think they’re making a special iron and will only gain in popularity
@@andrewjensengolf agree!
Just started video and anxious to see how these compare to my 3D printed Cobra LIMIT3D irons that I love.
Did you consider the Avodas? Also considering the Cobra Limit3d if they don't work out

You should try the Same Length set with the 4i utility

Are these one length set or the there combo shaft length set.
Combo length
Were these built to one length?
they weren't
Are these combo lengths or one length?
They were combo but when the re-shafted them, they built them as a progressive length set
@@andrewjensengolf wait so you ended up not getting them one length?

how forgiving are these Andrew? I play single length cobras now and I love them. I am around an 11 or 12 handicap....are these too much club for me?

Never even heard of these
Definitely worth paying attention to!
Doesn’t Bryson do like a one length set but two different lengths, long irons and short irons?
Bryson goes one length, but Avoda makes both a single length or combo length option (same length from 8i down through wedges)
OK ... I'm seeing them in the bag ... and this is not the one length and not with the bulge. Still ok custom view upon them. But OK. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
@Andrewjensongolf are you still sponsored by taylor made?
Haven’t been since my playing days ended. Total free agent to test & game what I please
Those are sexy-looking irons!
They look great, but at those prices they will be relegated to Ferrari status. Something you dream of, but can never afford.
$1230 for the set is standard pricing for these
Jew iron
I think a little Jewish precision is exactly what I’ve been looking for!
@@BigDawgCAM Jewish precision. What a laugh.
