I have a feeling that I'd have a better experience buying a bike from Bert's over the phone living in California than buying one in person from the dealerships out here. I just might try.
That v-rod accelerated very quick. Just listening to it I could hear the power. Lots of great deals there. I would be afraid to walk in because I would be ridding something out. Very nice thanks for sharing. I just bought a VTX 1800s and have had my concours 1400 and 1000. A few years ago I bought the 1000 and took it on a 4 month trip and didn't have to do anything but change the oil and keep putting gas in it. The bike had about 15k miles on it and appeared to be brand new. I did put new tires on it just to be safe. Bikes are a lot of fun. Be safe my brother! Yes, those are my friends Sub D and The Kleb in my profile pic with me. I know you met Sub D before. Great guys!

I actually really enjoy these videos. I love finding awesome deals as does everyone I would think. But going to the different dealers and saying "what's the cheapest running riding motorcycle on the property"? Just to see what kind of great deals that are out there!
Sure would be nice if the housing market people would offer better house deals and prices like Bert does for bikes. A Berts deal Is going to really help.
Dude ya do just fine. 8-9 years ago I tried hard. Now days I don't even show my face much. For me it's more about spreading knowledge about bikes and hoping to inspire others to finish their project bikes, or grow the cajones to try to fix that broke down bike in the corner. I got a running driving cb750 night hawk for $600 and it was the most fun I’ve had for that cheap. She is still running but looks nothing like it’s supposed to
I think it's nice and a great service to offer from Bert's having all kind of bikes available in different price ranges. It's much appreciated and I ain't even living in America.
I have an 06 VRSCR Street Rod and I absolutely love it! It was the first model with Brembo brakes, inverted forks and a 5 gallon fuel cell. It had decreased rake, mid controls and a 40 degree lean angle back in 2006. It was my sole transportation from 2018-2020 commuting 77 miles each way and I am actually planning on riding it to Oregon next summer.

I own a 2005 honda shadow aero and it's been great for my first bike. You could ride it anywhere you want. Love your videos I hope to own a harley davidson one day. But for now I'm happy with my honda.
I like the road king grew up on the Electra Glide present time running a Super Glide but that being said I can appreciate the fact that you talk up the Goldwing but I sure wouldn't want one but the V-Rod definitely a very impressive motorcycle to ride I rented them quite a few times back in the day but I've always wanted to try one of those muscle deals but definitely something everybody should have an experience riding
Josh, for everything you have done for Forgotten Angel's and those young men, you DESERVE to get yourself that Road King! God bless the Swamp Wizard and his dirty hordes! If I hit the lottery I'll buy you one! 🤞 (Crossed fingers)
Josh. If you ride the Blast to Tennessee, I’ll buy it. My neighbor has a V-rod he’ll sell you cheap.😊 to ride back to Fl. He says it’s out of gas every 100 miles…
I remember a few year’s back I was on my 2016 Harley Davidson Dyna Low Rider and pulled up next to a fella on a V-rod at a red light. I was always happy I could beat all these cagers off the white line at lights. That definitely didn’t happen against this V-rod though holy crap! 😮 That light turned green and he was gone! Never seen a fast Harley Davidson until that day. I was like holy crap what does he got rocket fuel in his bike or what?! 😯 I wasn’t personally crazy about the V-rods when they first came out cause it didn’t look like your traditional Harley Davidson. As I got older though I did like the one with the matte black and orange racing stripes paint scheme on it. Also I have seen some V-rods that have had some custom work done on em where they did away with the thinner tire in the front and replaced with a fatter tire which looks cool actually. Shadetree surgeon isn’t wrong when he says these are fast bikes though for sure. I’ve seen it with my own 2 eyes.
I worked at a Harley dealer, selling bikes when i first retired. I could not believe how "Harley" the Yamaha Road Star was. In fact it was more "Harley Like" than the 50k CVO's! It was just like riding a real nice Shovel, without losing you teeth fillings!
Hey Shadetree Surgeon! You handled that Ducati Monster very well.👊Knees defo in the breeze on that.👍😂😂 That Nighthawk wants longer forks and half apes! 👍😂😂 I rode Superbikes and Supersports most of my days but I'd love a V Rod , it's head turner! 👍And if college girls are crossing at lights and you rev it there knickers get wet instantly, and they wanna use your back seat to plug the flow.😂😂
Your videos are always great Josh! I love them, your narration and quick wit are always entertaining. I was wondering if you and Chey would make a video sometime about short female riders, with hints, tips, tricks, etc. I am 5'1 if I stand up super straight, LOL, and I just bought a 2018 classic heritage 114 and the weight intimidates me. I can put my forefoot down on both sides, but sometimes at slow speeds still feels unsteady. I do not want to lower it. How does Chey handle the weight and height of the bigger bikes? I would love a video like that. I hope you all at BrapStar have a very Merry Christmas!

Hey, $600 for a fixer upper will get you going In the right direction!! I found my 1998 Honda Shadow Ace Tourer out of nowhere.. the condition wasn’t great, but for $500 it’s getting fixed and me back on two wheels to make it to the Campout in March!! Diamonds in the Ruff!! 🐕 hahaha

hey great video,i enjoyed that .i love watching you try out and talk about different bikes at Burts, But i tell i really doubt ore Harley dealers here in Canada would let you hop on and try out their used bikes as Burts does. Way cool.
ive had every harley since the 60s. today I ride a F6B best bike on the rode. 10 hrs easy ride. on Harleys 3 hrs done. F6B 100 mph all day lives to 500K miles 4.4 in 60secs cruise control. never brakes down shaft drive. best kept secret
Some nice bikes, the Kwak sounded awesome. Baby Monster… Yeah Monster 1200S whole different beast, 150-160hp, torque rich 😈 love the Vrod, surely HD’s answer to the Vmax and a really cool muscle bike. Almost bought one but bought the Victory Octane instead, an itch to scratch
There’s nothing a street glide can do a Vulcan can’t, outside of “high performance” type builds as there isn’t much out there as far as go fast parts for these. But that’s a small part of what these bikes are about and they’ve got enough scoot to have a hoot, if it’s all you got you’d never think it’s slow. Honestly the old 1500 from like 99 was pretty good before they updated it, the old 1500 was more raw feeling than the 1600 and 1700s after.
Yeah. My M8 Heritage is absolutely awesome and feels like I’m on rocket. But my head knows half the unassuming bikes I see every time I’m on could probably blow it out of the water. But I sure love my bike anyway.
That Cassie must be a good sort to keep riding with you when you have problems. Small problems as such are a simple fix, but sent from Barf party to let you know who’s boss
I wish I could find bikes that affordable here in north carolina. Looking at upgrading to a vulcan 900 so I can ride the highway more comfortably than I can on my little mt03. It rips, sure, but it gets blown around like an umbrella in a hurricane on the road.
I love these videos. My only issue is when I see something I want (i.e. that white Goldwing) by the time I call Bert’s the next day it’s always sold . 🤷♂️
Hey Josh there is a 2002 vrod for under $5500 on cycle trader and there is several vrod muscles for under 10g. Just an FYI. Love the channel and especially the hotties. So when is a forgotten angel’s camp out? Do they have a place to sleep for rent preferably with hvac or ac anyway. I want to come party with y’all and show off my very special 2000 road KING. lol. And it’s special it’s 1 of 100 actually it’s 48 or 49 out of 100. lol.
I still count it a huge mistake that i didn't get a V rod when everyone was hating on them, so sad about that, not as sad as i am about my 79 ford 150 ranger flare side short bed 4x4 stolen w/ no return, but still. at least as sad as I am about never winning the raffle LOL.
I recently emailed Bert’s looking for parts for my bike. After several emails to the parts department only a bike salesman replied to me. Explained I was looking for parts and asked if he could give the parts department a shake but nothing, nada, zip! The exact same experience I get at almost every Harley dealership! I even name dropped you… it didn’t help.
Also, just saying, there’s a guy in Cali who literally called Bert himself personally to ask advice on a bad deal a dealership gave him on parts out that way and Bert had multiple phone calls with him. I’m sorry this was your experience but you gotta try communicating a different way. I see so many people who have good experiences… just call in person man.

Maye of mine rides his vrod like a sports bike he has his mug of drinking whiskey and lemonade hanging off the side now so he can hear it hitting the road amd knows thats pretty close to the limit around the corner
Well, I love those nighthawks. I’ve always wanted one not a big deal, putting them back together again either finding parts for them is easy Peezy. Until the new sportster, the VR was the only bike that was ever good from Harley as far as I can see to my taste, I would’ve had one if they weren’t Harleys but I consider them Porsches instead just don’t understand why they stop building them or where they didn’t have enough road clearance but at the time as I remember, only the Vmax was faster and the quarter mile they even beat the rocket three in the quarter-milebut that’s cause of weight. Specially, the night rod. Oh my God I love that bike. I’ll never understand why hardly stop making. The rods are such nice bikes don’t know why Harley people didn’t like them.
If you added up all your free Bert's advertising, I would think it would add up to a free surprise Road King on one of your upcoming birthdays. Because Bert is just that kind of a stand up dude. 🤔😉 Just tell him the internet said so. 🏍️💨👍🤠
that 800 buck Buell looks like a winner for an around towner around here, betting that could be a GREAT adventure Bike in these parts, dang it!!! You should put that in the raffel. LOL That Night hawk looks like it would be a perfect candidate for a sweet chopper.
The dealer in my hometown profiles. Dillon Brothers HD doesn't even greet people when they walk in. There is free water in the bathroom. I have been to Burt's. It is way better

I once bought a cheap one way plane ticket to get to Tampa from Milwaukee to get a Crown Vic. Might be fun to get a bike like that too !
I’ve done it a bunch, absolutely love it
ooh dude i wish i could get that Buell to/in Belgium. that would be the ideal step up for my wife. shame it never existed here 😞
Yeah. My M8 Heritage is absolutely awesome and feels like I’m on rocket. But my head knows half the unassuming bikes I see every time I’m on could probably blow it out of the water. But I sure love my bike anyway.
Just bought a vrod. The early ones are kind of better. 80pounds lighter and a smaller back tire. They are still cheap.
That Cassie must be a good sort to keep riding with you when you have problems. Small problems as such are a simple fix, but sent from Barf party to let you know who’s boss
I like bike, especially mine 😀 I’d like to ride to Bert’s Barracuda someday. I’d like to have beer with Shade Tree Surgeon too.
What's up with the big land yacht Lincoln u bought awhile back??
I wish I could find bikes that affordable here in north carolina. Looking at upgrading to a vulcan 900 so I can ride the highway more comfortably than I can on my little mt03. It rips, sure, but it gets blown around like an umbrella in a hurricane on the road.
I love these videos.
My only issue is when I see something I want (i.e. that white Goldwing) by the time I call Bert’s the next day it’s always sold . 🤷♂️
I ride a 2011 vaquero. Outfitted for long haul I live it.
Wait. If a blast is half a sportster, could you put half a sportster big bore kit on one?
I don’t see why not!
That $5900 GL1800 is a steal. It's an easy 150k mile machine.
That Buell though...😲
Some weird ads for movies b4 your video but hey that's life I guess!
I need to know what brand those Gloves are that Shady uses, those with the Magnets that keep them on the Tank. Can somebody help me?
I recently emailed Bert’s looking for parts for my bike. After several emails to the parts department only a bike salesman replied to me. Explained I was looking for parts and asked if he could give the parts department a shake but nothing, nada, zip! The exact same experience I get at almost every Harley dealership! I even name dropped you… it didn’t help.
What were the parts you were looking for? As someone who never checks their email I would recommend calling over an email
@@shadetreesurgeon Handlebars, riser, Derby cover, brake line and clutch cable plus a Screaming Eagle air intake. I managed to get elsewhere but it was a couple of grand that they lost out on.
@@shadetreesurgeon my heavy Scottish accent can be a problem! Then I have to explain on the phone that it’s mam, not sir… “ohh but your voice sounds soo…” Yup! I remember a weird Holiday to Bangkok!!! 🤣
Vrods were really popular in Australia I think the statistics were that we were the largest market for them
And on that the majority of vrods in Australia routinely go for between 30-50k
Always a good time.
Question: what is the proper number of motorcycles to own?
Anwser: just one more
Ur hired
that 800 buck Buell looks like a winner for an around towner around here, betting that could be a GREAT adventure Bike in these parts, dang it!!! You should put that in the raffel. LOL That Night hawk looks like it would be a perfect candidate for a sweet chopper.
Love these videos !!!
I've seen cheap bikes at dealerships & Facebook. i love goldwings.
Damn it! I wish I lived closer so I could get the Blast.
Tbh you don't look 300 lbs anymore man. I always love the Bert's vids. Soo many bikes so little cash lol. Good vid
Talking to Bert's about the white Goldwing
The dealer in my hometown profiles. Dillon Brothers HD doesn't even greet people when they walk in. There is free water in the bathroom. I have been to Burt's. It is way better
speaking of Kawasaki my dad has a 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 2000 for sale if you're interested.
THAT IS A HECK OF A MOTORCYCLE FOR $5,900 I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED ONE
