Link to Broadway Nashville playlist- Please note this is VERY BROAD. When you get your first gig ask the band leader for a set list. Also they play a lot of classic rock, so brush up on that :) The rock playlist I linked is a great one!

I am a native Nashville resident and a drummer. Gotta say that you are absolutely correct. Back in the day we had an amusement park called opryland and we had live bands all over the park. I was 10 years old when I heard this advice from a session guy. Nashville is way over saturated with musicians. You have to network. You need to learn as much as possible. I gave up the dream, went to college for computer science. Was amazing because half the people were in my same situation. Glad you are here and following your dreams girl.
Keep going. Ignore the snobby attitude of other people. Most importantly, have fun.
You are making it! You play great, you have a good ear, you can play other stuff than country, you sing, and most important of all, you put your whole self into the song, I can see it! You rock. And thats coming from an old guy who has been playing for years.
Seconded
Great info! Wish I would have made a move like you did back in the day. Bassist/ musician of 40 plus years here. I'm still playing and giging as much as I can with no intentions of stopping. Thanks for the video. Inspiring!
Thank you Molly. That was extremely interesting. I wish more of my favorite drummers would tell their story about how they got started as well. And more importantly...how you guys were able to get in the game. Thank you.
Thank you SO much for sharing the country playlist. I have my first broadway gig in a few days and was curious about all the other Broadway tunes outside of the setlist I've been working on. Gonna try to get more shows downtown in the new year also. Thanks for breaking it all down!
Hope you have a great ‘24! Thanks for sharing and working your tail off
Hi Molly. I’m Djay, and I’m also a drummer. This information is very helpful! And thank you! I made my plans to visit Nashville in August to also make connections with other musicians in the industry. So I appreciate what you told me about your experience!
Awesome video ! You do a fantastic job , much talent ! Best wishes to you for a great future !
Very cool! I hope you had a great Christmas! Happy new year
Such a cool journey, I love to watch the tik tok live of your performance. Can't believe youre doing 2 gig in a day 😮
Just found your channel last night and your hard work ethic and drive stood out immediately! Cool how you mentioned Rich Redmond too because your charisma and energy on the kit actually reminded me of him. I’m excited to see where your journey progresses from here!
so much love!
I love your personality and your positivity!!! There is definitely room for everybody. I love Nashville!!!
Thank you!!! That’s what I needed! Xoxo
Thanks for sharing your journey with us! Wow!
Your timing is amazing! I’m a drummer moving to Nashville January 12, and I’m trying to find a playlist for the area. Thank you posting this! Your videos have really helped to get some insight on Nashville!
Dumb question: how do I access the link in the comments for the playlist?
so sorry just updated it! If the link doesn't work again its called "Nashville Broadway" on Spotify
Thank you again!
That was fun! Sorry if I moved anything while I was up there!
Thanks for the insight Molly! How do we access the music links? Dying to start learning these songs. Appreciate you!
I updated the link sorry!
Great video thank you! I’m curious; Do all the venues provide drums or are you schlepping your gear for most of those gigs?
We bring cymbals, throne, snare, pedal
You’re Awesome!
❤
Do a tour of Broadway! It looks like Beale St. in Memphis on steroids. Determination and consistency is the key. You're 100% right.
Молли, спасибо, это очень интересно. Может быть ты сделаешь "Один день с Молли"? Покажешь нам свой дом, твои дела, график, поездки, общение. Репетиции и проч.
Great video. I don’t see the link for the set to the Nashville set list. Can you please post it on a comment. Thank you
just updated it! so sorry. if that doesn't work its "Nashville Broadway" on Spotify
Rich & Tom?! You def got ahold of some big dawgs from the jump... "Say yes until you can afford to say no." Ever been to the drummers lunch?

The best country music is from Bakersfield

Go find Kevin Murphy and take a lesson with him
Real fine. Thank goodness the CA modern valley girl voice accent is on the way out - let's work on a modly understated twang for 2024 ! lol.
Nice post Molly! I figured that you had moved from VV. M.I. (P.I.T.) is great to have on paper for credentials. Best of luck and keep pursuing the dream! Most of all have fun -
