its even better with the bar area you can collect music to play, the garden area from fallen order is now more open and customizable the you can customize BD, Cal, his lightsaber there's so much more to do and explore and find so I'm really excited to play and find out just how much they have added.
I'm most glad about fast travel.

I feel the blaster stance will be more of a blood borne parry focused build but really who knows until we see that’s the only way I could imagine it being right now though

The first game was a pleasant surprise. I played it about a year or so after release so I did not have to deal with any bugs. I hear a lot of people say they’re tired of Star Wars games centered around Jedi, but this is the first game that ever made me feel like a real Jedi bad ass and got the lightsaber “swordplay” right if you ask me. Really looking forward to this one, though I may wait a week after release just to make sure all the bugs are ironed out first

We need a Sith focused game, and a bounty hunter/pirate game.
It made you feel like a Jedi that was on a journey to becoming stronger and better in the force. While at the same time, it always reminding you that you’re not a Skywalker, or Yoda or even Starkiller. You are Cal Kestis, a unique but relatively weak Jedi. And I like that.

I would need more information. This game sounds awesome though I enjoyed the first one the little bit I did play.

It might be time to upgrade. I did last month and it is a HUGE jump from PS4 base to PS5. Now shopping for a 4K TV to take full advantage of what this amazing console can deliver.

I just finished Fallen Order this week for the first time and I have to say that besides fast travel and enemy variety, I don't really care about the other changes... I kinda liked how "small" it was. So many games these days have seventy gazillion things to do which is hard when you work 5 days a week xD
I hope that it manages to capture the adventurous Star Wars feeling and still feel sort of 'intimate' like the first one.
Oh... and the music. I hope the music is as great as the first one :)
Seriously I honestly don’t mind a good short game cause that way I don’t have to play 20+ hours to finally get to the good skills and feel like I have a decent arsenal

One of the few games where I feel like they made improvements to everything and it's just better in all ways. Can't wait!!!
It’s 155 GB on pc, 147 GB on PS5 (I think) and 139 GB on series X, it’s only 40 GB on series S. Don’t know if you got that update or not so I’m telling you just in case

The developers took a note from Jedi Knight: Jedi outcast two or Jedi Knight: jedi academy with the added option of stances. Both games are amazing, by the way. Worth checking out.
Got round to playing Fallen Order very recently. Have to say, the simplicity of the skill tree and the customisation was actually so refreshing compared to the overwhelming options in, for example (as mentioned in the video), God of War. At first, I was disappointed and confused that everything I was finding in loot chests was purely cosmetic but it was actually so liberating to have no pressure to stop and make a strategic decision every time I obtained a new piece of armour, attachment, talisman, skill, upgrade or what-have-you. I could just appreciate that I'd found a collectable and get on with the game.
This is the first game since Cyberpunk 2077 im actually hyped for. Please dont let us down EA

in fairness to developers, it seems like they did their homework and might understand what players liked in such games, and I wasn't that excited to play previous game, but I am looking forward to play this one
I am also looking forward to 10 (or more) things we didn't know, when the game releases :)

Everything about this game seems to have improved from the first one, really good to see and really excited for release!
Gameranx have done a 12 minute video explaining what this game is, compared to other RUclips gaming videos posting daily videos for the past month telling us nothing new. I applaud you Gameranx 👏🏾
It actually ranges up to 140gb+ on PS5 and XSX, it's the Series S that has 44gb size.
This makes Fallen Order look like a really well done rough draft and things that needed to be corrected and expanded were in the sequel. I just hope the Night Sister gets more screen time since you get her at the end game and that was it.
She uses the force now, well technically magick in Star Wars is the force but you know what I mean lol.

I'm honestly really excited for this. First new game since MWII, so keen to jump back into the metroidvania exploration and traversal, and that brutal combat.

I knew I wanted a sequel and would have always bought it day one, but the more I see about this game the more it's in my top 3 most hyped games for 2023.

@@Mopantsu close, it was Spiderman 2, Jedi Survivor and RE 4 Remake, but as time goes on and the more I see of it, FFVI gets higher on that list. Definitely in the top 3 since RE 4 came out.
number 5 was such a BIG one for me, hope it's so much easier I really REALLY did not go back and do anything because it was such a pain in the ass, it was get a new travel power, go back to the planet try to remember where it was, travel all the way there to get just a cosmetic item. Wich don't get me wrong I wold have been happy to get if it wasn't just so many walls to doing it.

I’m so hyped for this game.
I can't believe it but this actually looks like Respawn listened and did what the fans wanted, the combat did get a bit boring after a while in the first game. Also the traversal and backtracking were kind of frustrating, so having a faster way to move around with the mounts and added grappling hook looks like it will balance that out. Can't wait to play this one!
I just got the game today and realized I haven’t watched a single video from gameranx. So I’m watching them all before I play.

@@Trio3224 lol I like Cyberpunk 2077, and I’m still waiting on the new DLC. Yeah but this game man… Idk maybe because it’s SW but I’m super excited. I wasn’t as excited fit the first one because I was still kinda a bit skeptical. But now after mastering the first game, getting all the achievements, playing through 5 times, and seeing all the upgrades the sequel is getting… it was a no brainer to pre order Survivor for me lol.

And yeah totally agreed. I was not expecting a high quality star wars campaign from EA and Respawn. Nothing against Respawn since they are a good dev, but this was a totally new project for them since they're most well known for their shooters like Titanfall and Apex. But they absolutely blew my expectations away and from everything we've seen from the trailers it looks like they've expanded and improved almost everything.
Absolutely loved the first game! It was so refreshing from all th eopen world bs, I actually really liked the linear lvls. Also combat was a blast in the frist one, but so far, this looks really promising
I'm totally gonna rock the cross guard saber and the pistol + single blade. Though, I wonder how they'll transition between those stances. Will Cal carry two sabers and a pistol? If so, YES!
Hope the puzzles are easier cuz im kinda slow and had trouble with the first one 😅
Devs said there are MUCH less puzzles on the main story path BUT they're still there if you want a challenge & some extra loot

I'm so glad Merrin is returning in the second game. She was a great character. I'm just excited overall for this game.
All the diversified combat options will work only if they give us a lot of enemy variety as well as environment variety - many planets to explore, making the enemies visually interesting as inhabitants of those planets. So hope that's there.
With all the hype for Dead Island 2, all I've been thinking about is Jedi Survivor. Looks like a fuller, more fulfilling experience

The 44 gigabytes is only for xbox series s the ps5 and xbox series x are near the pcs gigabyte range
They perfected the 'important' stuff in Fallen Order, and in this game it looks like they're expanding towards the horizon with the updated stances, locations, enemies and customisation.
I quite like the fact that they didn't change the core gameplay mechanics too much, as it helps in not breaking the immersion into Cal's story (for me).
I don't think I will be using any of the new stances long term (I would still love to try them out short term though!).
I have really spent a lot of time with the double bladed lightsaber stance (in the first game), and I do feel that it surely suits Cal more than the other ones.
Visually, absolutely loving what these guys have done with the sequel.
The new animations look great, but still familiar - something I liked as well.
I know pre-ordering a game isn't a good idea (Cyberpunk PTSD lol), but I still pre-ordered this one the moment is was launched because I know that EA is not kidding around with the Jedi series.

I'm weird and dislike fast travel mechanics unless they make sense within the gameworld. So Silt Striders make sense to me but just randomly teleporting (I know it's not just teleporting, of course) wouldn't. I've never fast travelled in Fallout 3, for example, nor in Horizon: Zero Dawn.

I'm really excited about this game. The only thing that kinda bothers me is that we can't have all 5 stances at once. Like it doesn't make sense to me, especially how like Ghost of Tsushima works where you had all the stances to your disposal. I hope it's not too much of an hindrance. I don't think its extremely game breaking and like I won't have any fun or shit, but just a slight bother😅
I think you only had access to all stances on the master katana. At least that's how it is in Legends as I have not played the main game all the way through yet.

More things to know: It's EA, it may have microtransactions, bugs/glitches/performance issues day 1 with a massive update of 50 gigs to fix a portion of them and a price tag of 70$ for the base and 90$ for the deluxe which include cosmetics.

I'm bursting with anticipation for this game, although it doesn't quite compare to my excitement for Ubisoft's upcoming open-world Star Wars game. As a fan of the franchise, it's incredibly exciting to have some promising prospects for fantastic Star Wars games.

Gear that changes stats as well as looks is one of my least favorite game mechanics. One thing I loved about the first game was how stats didn't matter when collecting ponchos and saber parts.
I don't know how many of y'all played Xenoblade Chronicles X, but it had a feature where you could equip your main gear for stats, but you also had the option for cosmetic equipment if you didn't like the look of the stat armor. More games need that feature.
Will the day come when I see a bloodborne remake or remastered because all the bad and worthless games got it and the legend is still stuck at the mercy of 30fps
As a member of PC master race who only recently got his first Playstation, thus being able to finally play Bloodborne (I'm a huge From fan as well), playing Bloodborne at 30 fps is really painful. It needs 60 fps update/remaster yesterday...
The file size is also massive on PS5 (147gb) and Series X (140gb), Series S is 44ish gb likely due to lack of 4K textures and assets. I am REALLY hoping it is because the game will be shockingly long and less to do with uncompressed audio and assets, but we shall see.
I had to delete several games already to make room on my PS5, extremely fast internet makes this much less painful though. Takes no time to download and reinstall most games.
I was so surprised by the original and didnt play it until like 2 years after release. I will be buying this on release what a hype year of gaming.

Quick correction, High Republic is post-Dark Age, it's after the fall of the Old Republic. The height of the Galactic Republic (and Jedi Order) that we know from the prequel films, with the ongoing books and comics detailing what started to cause the decline to the Republic we saw in Clone Wars and the movies. (Phase 1 is 200 years before TPM, phase 2 is 350 years before, and phase 3 is 199 years. With the new Star Wars: Acolyte series being roughly a 100 years before TPM)
Really looking forward to seeing how this new character, and the High Republic era in general ties into Jedi Survivor's story.

It looks like they just took the very good base of the first game and added more of everything. On paper, this is an incredible game. Hopefully, it turns out strong!
11:40 idk if you saw but actually the sizes for consoles ha been confirmed now, 147gb for ps5 and 139gb for xbox series x and 44gb for series s, this is likely because the series s only runs at 1080p rather than 4k on other platforms meaning no need for them to download any of the high res assests, which is probably whats taking up so much room

Magical thinking. Companies don't care about random, disorganized individual boycotts at all. They don't even know you exist. There are only two ways to actually influence a corporation's behavior as a regular person, at least right now: Organized group protests or pushes for legal regulation.
I made a vid on this, i'll not support this overpriced crap. Digital games were meant to be cheaper, they don't have to run an assembly line. No discs need to be made, no cases, no manuals, no ink is used, no stocking fee, no shipping fee etc. FK this game, and FK EA!

The Series S is 44 gigs.
Both the Series X and PS5 will be 140-150 gigs.

@@peanutjuice SSD storage does a better job being able to sort through compressed data. File sizes are actually able to be substantially smaller on an SSD.
And since this game is tailor made for the new consoles, it can be optimized for SSD storage.
As for the Series X and PS5, I'm guessing all those 4K textures and stuff are just super massive.
I absolutely hated the map in the first game. It took me forever before it kinda just clicked (and that's after quitting and leaving the game for months at a time on numerous occasions). I'd like to think I could figure out the map this time, but hearing that they upgraded the map just made my weekend!!!
150GB available space requirement does not mean the game will take 150GB, it just needs that amount during installation for unpacking stuff.

I love the double-ended lightsaber stance in this game. Excellent for crowd control and works great in conjunction with my second favorite stance, dual-wield.

If the first game had Fast Travel the game would have been insanely short because it wasn't actually that big but if it is in fact much larger then you have to implement it.
Customization.
The only thing I am hoping for is the ability to get rid of the extra long lightsaber hilt when you are someone that only uses a single blade. The first one had you stuck with it. Not an enormous deal of course but just that one thing that bugged me.
