Likely not. You will need to have a valid product key for Windows 11 pro or Windows 10 pro in order to activate. Microsoft recently disabled activation with the product key from older versions of Windows such as Windows 7 and Windows 8. So if you installed Windows 10 pro with a Windows 7 or Windows 8 product key, it will not be able to activate once you upgrade to Windows 11. Microsoft is starting to be difficult 😡

Its really hard to say what is causing this. If you are running the setup and it doesn't open on your PC, then it might be time to do a fresh install. After you answer the UAC message to allow it to make changes the setup screen should appear. There might be something else going on with the system. You can try looking at the event logs to see if those provide any insight.

Sorry, Pls help! Doesn't work on my pc.
It said: The PC must support Secure Boot. 😢
It sounds like Windows 11 was installed on an unsupported system via a workaround. I have been told that newer versions of Windows 11 will no longer work for this. Please see the system reqs for Windows 11. Sorry I can't be of more help on this.

and wn 11 pro to win 11 home single lenguaje 😢😢😢
Hello there TEK411, do you happen to know how to do this for the new 23H2 on unsupported Hardware using the keep everything option?
when i try this method on 23H2 11 Pro the only option is to keep nothing.
Is windows installed on C:\Windows? Also, make sure your installing the same edition and language. Otherwise there is not option to keep your existing file/apps.
Is it different if I want to downgrade it to Home Single Language?
Yes, please take a look at the video description for the registry values to use for home SL.
Can you you help... I was part of W10 (Pro) DEV channel when W11 was released in lots of versions. BUT my PC doesn't meet W11 spec's. I was only allowed it as part of the DEV channel. On October 10 2023 "Pro" support ended meaning i need to roll back to "Home" but i cant as my PC doesn't met W11 spec's. Do you have any ideas.... Ideally I want to stay with W11... Thanks.
I have another video on installing Windows 11 on an unsupported system. It might be best in your case though to do a fresh install.
