- This week we had the honour of detailing and paint protecting the last McLaren F1 ever made - #075. Despite having worked on nearly 10 F1s in the past, no two are exactly the same, meaning we need to adjust and redesign our bespoke Paint Protection Film patterns for each car. Better yet, we have a little surprise in the video, in the form of another very special car!
Thanks for watching, Topaz Detailing

The design of the F1 hasn't aged at all. Incredible.
It’s a proper legend!
It’s definitely aged but has aged so well and has kept a classic design. Simple yet sporty. Nothing else like it.
Only the wheels those are shot straight out of the nineties
Agreed.
Agree. My favorite car of all time...
McLaren F1 = Eternal legend and the king of supercars. Simple like that.
Lazy Yoda King of all cars I’d say.
The F1 looks so pristine, the clarity of the paint finish with the film on and the lighting looks almost unreal / CGI, just jaw dropping
So old Mclaren F1 but it look's new
Watch for the trolls who attempt to blame your reasonable desire for the f1 on "nostalgia"
@@tylercouture216 It legit looks like it could have debuted yesterday. Maybe the headlights are slightly outdated, but that is really the only thing you can pick at it for, and its not much.
@@Destin5258 " slightly outdated" Careful you don't break your arm circlejerking off that car. It looks about 15-20 years outdated.
when the car not going outside....
It doesn't look too modern, but it has aged very well compared to many other cars of that time.
And that paint is still beautifup.
Still more exciting and special than today’s HyperCars
Before the Gemera
You Didn't See Graphite, Because It's Not There I don’t agree when it comes to the 2350 lb LM version, with the manual, and naturally aspirated very loud V12.
The McLaren F1 is universally regarded as a timeless classic and for many petrol heads, it's the greatest road car ever . To be fair, I can see where they are coming from 👍👍
Considering this was created in the 1990's, this still looks absolutely stunning and amazing today (June 2020). Love the colour, the clarity.... pristine engineering and design at its absolute best!
Every F1 video my heart rate increases and about 50% of the time I cry. I am in total awe every time. Nothing will ever compare
Unbelievable how the F1 came out when i was born in 1992 and yet it still holds up in terms of looks compared to all super cars being released these days, 27 years later!!!!!!!! I think it looks better then most new designs we see today
we’re in the same age
This was the car I was intimidated from when I used to play Need for Speed 2 on my PS1 😆
need for speed hot pursuit
It was a nightmare to handle.
The greatest supercars ever made! Personally I love the LM.
That car simply doesn't date. It's the Peter Pan of the car world. Wow!!!
30$m and still someone's gonna buy it that's how valuable this car is ...
legend 💖
I bet they can install the hell out of a screen protector on a phone.
Lol
Another work of art from Topaz. Can't say enough how detail oriented these folks are. Their excellent dedication to each car they treat goes beyond any car detail workmanship I've seen. 👍
Thank you for your kind words
The Number One Machine and what a stunning colour, excellent presentation, broad smile on the gentleman's face captures it all, a big thank you!
Could use these guys to apply my screenprotector without bubbles.
Fantastic car .
Even some 20-30 years latter , still looks very modern to me.
The design is ,always will be, timeless .
Nothing can match it ever after so many years.
Totally worth 30 million , a dream car !
Thanks for watching
Still looks modern! Such a beauty.
I still love if you look at the F1 side to side with the P1/GTR the body line similarities are so close
I’ve done the very same thing on my ford transit connect limited production special edition v1 model with some super efficient thin micro polymer cling film from my wife’s kitchen cupboard!
one word "WOW"
Nothing matches the pure simplicity yet perfection of the F1 even today it stands out
This is so satisfying to watch!
Thanks for watching
I really wouldn't want to be let loose around that sexy beast. So damn stunning! A masterclass in styling in that after nearly 30 years from it's inception, it still looks more contemporary than most supercars today!
That is an incredible honour to work on the last McLaren F1 ever built. This shows just how highly regarded Topaz is within the car community. Absolutely epic is an understatement, well done to everyone involved👌👍
5:07 and 6:45 it’s so cool to see both McLaren Legends in the same color parked next to each other
That P1 GTR and that F1 next to each other really says something about McLaren’s history. Such a unique brand
An honour to have them in our workshop!
This car aged like fine wine !
Looks like it come straight from the factory fantastic condition
What a beautiful piece of machinery!
The most beautiful car ever made!
Mclarens look amazing in orange especially the 720s.
This is the same process we give to my grandma when she needs to be on point for a special occasion.. we give her a good shower, decontamination, skin detail and finally a custom ppf.. great job guys!
Thumbs up if the F1 was your poster car growing up 👍🏼
That should be a lot of thumbs up!
F40 was my poster car
@@TopazDetailing 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Lamborghini Countach for me🤚🏼
Volvo 122 Amazon and the Volvo 262 Bertone is mine even though it is older than me, both beautiful cars.
Lovely work! I spotted Gary, who PPF'd my Toyota GT86 in a previous life. Cheers buddy!
This doesn't look like it came out in the 90s it just looks like a year can't be put to its name
Nabil, you need to have someone dedicated to making sure these types of jobs are captured from the very beginning until the end, even if you are out of town. I know paying someone to do this is not ideal, but your content is amazing and unique. Also, I know its cool to show hypercars but try and film some normal cars that come through the shop as well. I am sure there some great paint correction jobs that we (your fans) would love to see as well. I am in the US and travel to Europe for work often (Not so much right now, of course), do you offer tours of the shop?, as a fan, I would love to see the team in action. Keep up the awesome work!
Amazing job, guys! It looks pristine! One of the best you've done for sure...
Very Precise Work Fosho…… Thank you for your time
Awesome and majestic vehicles! I want this in my life!
classic timeless design
What a duo... EPIC!
Man it's something special
It's amazing, it's a work of an art
My Dream Car.. This is pure Art..
Shmee-like enthusiasm....love it 👍
Yo vi uno d estos en persona y tienen algo especia, puedes pasarte media hora contemplándolo q no t cansas d apreciarlo, estar cerca d semejante obra d ingeniería es reconfortante.
Oooh, to have THIS McLaren F1! And Ms. Rebecca (April Curtis, Knight Rider) Holden, or Ms. Adrienne ("The Cannonball Run") Barbeau at the wheel!
TAKE ME NOW, LORD! TAKE ME NOW!
I HAVE BEHELD PERFECTION!
I'm wiping my screen to help clean the car
Increible both cars conditions... The F1 looks new and the P1 GTR, it’s something from another world
Intrested to see how the inside of the hood scoop is protected. The single piece being installed shows in inner walls of the duct still exposed.
Simply the greatest to ever make it
Amazing work 👏🏻👏🏻🥇
Wow,30m?..fantastic bebeh,I like it...next,body protection like screen protection layer ya...sepatutnya letak anti finger print baru mantap kan?..macam hp(handPhone) pula
The thing that really sealed the heritage of this car was the Le Mans win. The last true road to racetrack Le Mans winner.
McLaren orange... Nice, veeeeery nice.
Still one of the best sounding NA V12.
My favorite car the McLaren F1.
Very nice work
Enjoyed that as always 👏👏👏🇦🇺
🇦🇺
Amazing
Why am I watching this I couldn’t even afford the ppl, but amazing attention to detail on a work of genius.
Good work👌👌
I test drove that F1 when I worked for McLaren Cars, find memories
Espectacular diseño y que maravilla poder cuidar un coche de estos.
That orange really grows on ya. Looks great
Great video! Can i ask what fluid do you use when you place the ppf on car?
amazing
Đẹp từng xen ti mét..😍😍😍👍
Dream car!
Ability, love your work... Regards from the Middle East
Look at the amount of sidewall on those tires! It's more than an SUV.
Incredible car
What a awesome result again Nabil, But i do have a question. I saw during this video a person touching the ppf on the side that was put on the car is there no contamination by touching that side?
Both look fantastic!!
I’m curious how many hours it took to install the PPF on the F1?
bro if i wanna work at your shop
then what qualification are required ?
The paint dust polished from that car is worth more than my winter beater.
Love that color. Would be great in Austin TX. Burnt orange Longhorns color match
P1 Gtr 😍😍🤗
And to think the t50 will be better... I can’t wait!
Would it not be more efficient to complete this process at the factory while the car is being built? Especially for super cars like this one!
I agree!
Is this the same one thats in the collection video that on youtube from about 8 year ago?
Dunno about the 30m, but it's probably worth as much as Topaz detailing firm... and it's probably more expensive to keep going too! It is lovely though, congrats on a job well done.
It‘s THE CAR!
The P1 looks sooooooo sick by the side of the F1
Ahh need for speed memories!!
Beautiful work,whats the music.
Holy grail.
Thanks for watching!
How much does a paint correction and PPF fitting cost usually?
Must get my Transit done.
Wow
Both a dream but prefer P1,they look so much better than the Senna.
Great job Topaz✔️
Thanks for your comment
For sure, P1 is insane
@@taylalola9220 agreed
at 2:16 my heart skipped a beat
Wish you guys could get your hands on the F1 GT. (In my opinion the most beautiful variant of the car, and also the rarest) Thing is beautiful!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍that f1💖
Do you clean the interiors also ?
nice video
It looks newer than new!
BMW M POWER!!!
Not that I’ll ever have to worry about it, but so you have to worry about fade through the film or is it UV blocking? Do you wax it? Just curious.
Is that McLaren P1 GTR on left side of the f1 in orange color😍😍😍
