Oh, man, this took me down memory lane to my absolute favorite button up shirt dress that I wore every chance I got circa 1992! I have the Chantelle lined up in my sewing queue but I haven't made a final decision on the fabric yet; most likely I'll use a cotton print 😁😁
Cute dress, love the fabric so much... Would just like to mention, I'm wasn't able to download the free Quince pattern, clicked on all 3 tabs, so it seems it may no longer be free, or free if you decide to join, which then definitely isn't free...? LOL
I love your dress, that fabric is lovely and you look great in it! I loved the look with your blue mules and knit sweater as well as combined with the jean jacket. I'm knitting the cropped version of the Minimalist Cable Cardigan by Carina Spencer and think this dress would look nice with that too. It's a great pattern if you're looking to add to your knitting queue. I know I'm now adding the Chantelle dress to my sewing queue after watching this video :)
It’s so sweet! I’d love to see the leftover fabric in something light like the Effie shorts (maybe with some trim?) for resort-pj vibes or a fun skirt like Everly, maybe even a wrap skort to keep playing up the 90s 💙

Omg, I remember a similar dress from Contempo Casual! Showing my age!😂😂😂
I would love sewing this kind of shirt dress in cotton, better in my summer humid climate, but it would not have this lovely draping.

It's a free download if you enter your email address on this page: promo.seamwork.com/free-quince/
Can you spell the name of the Etsy shop where you bought the fabric? Or link? Ty

Your dress is lovely. I'm so glad you've started making these videos, they're very inspiring!
Thank you so much!
Is the striped shirt you’re wearing from a Seamwork pattern?
It's RTW but you can get a similar look with the Seamwork Aims! www.seamwork.com/catalog/aims
