a note on installing Steam (especially if you mod your games): ALWAYS install Steam and your games to a separate folder outside of Programs file. windows doesn't like when you tinker around in that default installation folder and you are bound to run into problems if any of your modded games are installed there. on a side note, i came across your channel a few days ago and have found it very useful and reliable. thank you for these informative tutorials. subscribed!
Thank you for doing this video , i have been resetting and building pcs and this video help to remind me what to do after a fresh install since i tend to forgot some of them 😅
I've been watching your videos for a week now and I'm really liking it! My Windows problem is that I can't search on start menu and even on settings. Is this kind of problem can be fixed? Hope it can be fix or I'll just reset my Windows again, Thanks a lot!
You've gained another subscriber . I appreciate the knowledge gained in this video as well as the custom iso video. I hope you can make one on msi after burner. I mostly play warzone and would like to be able to take full control of my systems capabilities.
On power management I have Adaptive selected and for some reason, it runs way better than preferring maximum performance, I haven't done any tests with benchmarks and stuff but I can tell, the play experience was way better. I haven't played that many games tho, maybe max performance could actually help with other titles. The rest of the options on that control panel I'm too afraid to tweak.
Excellent guide, I'm going to do a few things that you explained in the video. However, about deactivate telemetry, I have some issues with a game. I know that is a bit ridiculous, but I like the solitaire collection, and the achievements doesn't work properly if you deactivate the telemetry. Anyway, thanks for the video.
There may be a way to get the achievements to work by messing around with the Windows10 debloater script, probably not, but it’s still worth it to check plus while you’re at it you might as well remove all the other bloatware on your computer
Hello there, I recently am facing driver issues (I used Driver easy and this thing actually messed one of the drivers, many people used it.. so I thought it was safe to go) and from that my pc is facing random shutdowns. It works properly in Safe Mode, or in normal boot if only I am running an app like maybe zoom, RUclips Music, or other games (valorant, human fall flat, etc steam stuff) A bit of idling or standby causes it to randomly shutdown, and it's all because of driver I could be very sure. Could you make a video on Reinstalling driver/ or proper checking for bad Drivers? It doesn't show up, but I'm sure that's the problem It maybe also help others with driver issues. Thank you!
If you didnt mind, its better for you to reinstall your Windows and start fresh (mind that you must activate your Windows back and back up your files) . Then just run Windows Update you'll be good to go , the drivers that windows provided for you sometimes actually good enough . But its recommended that you download your gpu drivers manually using NV Clean Install or you could just follow along with the videos (I saved this videos on my youtube account cuz its honestly covers almost everything you need to setup your pc❤️)
@@CyberCPU I just close steam because the game I usually play doesn't run through steam so it carries on. I play good old rage quit league of legends. But steam is useful when it stops the download when you want to play another game
I know. The first time I did it it was more of a troll. 😂😂 Last time I did a video on services I got tons of comments telling me I didn't have to hit apply.
Love yours videos, since finding them my pc has been night and day in terms of performance.
Glad they have helped.
Thank you for this, been wanting this exact video of how someone sets up their PC, haven't seen not one video like that on RUclips, so thanks.
Glad it helped.
I like computers set up like this even just for formal use, it’s a lot cleaner and more pleasing to look at

I'd be interested in an MSI afterburner set up.... I've not messed with it much as I thought it was only for overclocking.
Thanks for the input.

If you’re going to reset your windows I suggest making a custom Windows ISO as shown in one of Cyber’s other videos
Late, but I'ld interested in an MSI Afterburner video - never knew it could some of the things you mentioned/alluded to. Great video BTW.

You can always reset it to defaults if you do something that doesn't work.
I mean it’s the windows control panel i doubt you can really break a modern computer with it

I didn't realize that was an issue. Thanks for letting me know.

@5:00: If you disable dmwappushservice you can't use network shares anymore to sync your smartphone with your PC.
Yes

It's definitely a big download.
@@CyberCPU it really is especially when you want to play with friends but you have to keep closing steam for lag issued due to the download
You can set steam to not download while a game is playing. In fact I believe that's the default setting.

Aww, yes. I believe that's only relevant for steam games.
You dont click "Apply" after disabled Sysmain😆
