Fun fact: This is the only time Zane ever activated mystic space typhoon And it shows later on had Zane had a mystic space typhoon any time he went in with his cyber dragons, he’d probably get off his OTKs or have the advantage. So the writers don’t give it to him and instead show how if he’s countered even a little, Zane can’t do much.
Funny thing is, the 3rd Cyber Dragon wasn't even necessary. He could have just defused Twin, Refused it with Power Bond, and Double Attacked over Mudball Man -> Direct 5600. Going Cyber End was purely for the spectacle and big number (not that it affected the duel outcome, so mostly an observation)
I think the English Dub was mistaken about Zane's first turn. The original stated that the second to go can summon a level 5 monster on his first turn provided there is a monster on his opponent's field.
It is a bit confusing how he worded it. Zane’s first turn is the second turn of the duel. Because Zane went second, Jaden summoned a monster. This plays into Cyber Dragon’s ability to be summoned without a sacrifice as long as Zane’s field is empty and Jaden’s isn’t. The show will occasionally bend the rules of the actual game, but no, the person to go second is NOT allowed to summon a high-level monster without a sacrifice. Cyber Dragon’s ability makes it an exception.
Theres a lot of misplays in these games actually, someone else commented that if he set winged kuriboh at the end, he wouldve won due to Powerbonds Damage
@@ShameOnMeHEHEThis is possible if Jaden has Flute of Summoning Kuriboh. Since he Normal Summoned Bubble Man (which he drew during the Draw Phase) and he doesn't have the former spell card, summoning Kuriboh is impossible on that turn.
Wait why have I never thought about this...If he Set Winged Kuriboh he had game... Unless End Dragons Piercing would Still do Damage, but idk the ruling
@@ScarletKuriboh even if he did had piercing damage all damage would be zero and if he had it in his hand he could have just discarded it to the grave for zero damage
@@BreezeDorlingThat’s classic kuriboh not winged kuriboh. Interestingly enough, the anime version of winged kuriboh protects from piercing damage (see Jaden’s duel with Crowler) while the IRL version of winged kuriboh does not.

He couldnt Play IT. He normal summons bubbleman, so He couldnt summon w.k . And besides IT would Not Work. ITS an Anime Error. Same in the First Duel with crowler. It would be cool to see Zane duel Kaiba..
Kiaba would eat him alive
The animation quality jumps up a few levels when DDC resurfaces, and Zane adds Powerbond to hand

Zane should be an exodia player, he top decks more than any of the protagonists. Pulls 3 cyberdragons, poly and defusion with no searches.

It's his first turn in the duel. If there are no monsters out, Cyber Dragon can come out to play.

5:10 what if Jaden drew bubble illusion and mirror gate just like in the duel with Belowski?
One of my Favourite Duels ever
New sub here thanks for uploading non amv duel 😃
AMVs are awful 😂 idek why people waste their time on it
Biggesy misplay - Jaden summoning Avian in ATK. Since it's a weak Monster, play it in DEF mode.
He would’ve lost anyway.

MISPLAY
Zane didn't need to play Cyber End.
With De-Fusion in his hand, he can resummon the 2 Cyber Dragons and you know the rest.
I just wish there would’ve been a rematch between Jaden/Judai and Zane/Ryo in season 4. Oh, well. 😔
Homegirl ran right for the alpha.
Jaden could have won if he used kuriboh and made the damage from his cyber end dragon to zero then Zane would have to take 4000 damage

Zane OTK Jaden
I still think Jaden could have pulled a win here if he FlameWingman and Skyscraper out
Jaden lost this duel the moment he summoned Avian, one of his weakest monsters, in attack mode
Level 5 monster no tribute , 1st turn, CAP

3 words. Cyber Dragon's Effect.
"If only your opponent controls a monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand)."
