How bout, "Best Overall Brand"? Fun video guys! I like my Kobalt and love my Kobalt XTR cordless tools...
I use dewalt and Milwaukee cordless tools and they do just fine for me
I ran Dewalt for years. Never had a problem. I was in a pinch one day to replace an impact driver asap and my local Home Depot just happened to have a sale on Milwaukee M18 Fuel, buy bare tool, get free HO battery. I picked one up, and was so impressed that I've gradually been picking up more and more Milwaukee M18 Fuel tools, while building up my battery platform to M18 HO. I will never get into the old Red vs Yellow argument, because I love both. But I love Milwaukee more and more with each job. On the same note, I still have a few hand tools from Dewalt that I stay with because they work better for the applications I use than the Milwaukee counterparts. In a nutshell, I don't buy tools by name only. Each manufacturer has certain tools that they excel in, and I go with what works best, based on my experience.
I don't know who is actually voting on these categories, but I'm on the job site every day and the tools used are 90% Dewalt & Milwaukee and 10% everything else.
I gotta agree. Must be a lot of DIY guys voting as well. Or even single guy handyman type workers. My boss buys us Dewalt to make it easier. We can bring personal tools still. I got a good mix of Milwaukee and Rigid. So I leave them.
정말 재미있는 영상이었습니다
👍thank you
Pretty simple.
Finishing/fine work/ergonomics = Makita.
Brute power/decent to use tools = Milwaukee.
The only time I use Dewalt is if I borrow a tool from a guy.
Anything concrete = Hilti
Outdoor gas equipment = Stihl/Husqvarna
Best cordless tools is a 5050 split between Makita and Milwaukee for me.
Love Makita 18V but I also love Milwaukee M12 for my uses (minus the thick stupid handles on the tools)
This is the exact reason I run Makita LXT for heavier work and Milwaukee M12 for lighter stuff. Absolute best of both worlds and allows me to tailor the tool I'm purchasing to how it's gonna be used. Cutting rafters or a stack of plywood for sheathing? Makita 18x2 7 1/4 circular saw. Installing a new kitchen? M12 Fuel Surge impact and installation drill/driver.
Great video. I would only add welding machines to the survey
I voted in a few of these polls. This was a great video.
I prefer my Metabo HPT for most of my nailer and fastener needs-never have let me down
I have been mostly a Milwaukee and Makita guy for my jobsite- and woodworking tools but have converted over to a good chunk of the Metabo HPT 36V line
Recip saw, hammer drill, grinder, 10" mitre, table saw, rotary hammer, portable band saw-luv the triple hammer but I have a bunch of the 18V cuz we don't need the AC adapter option for that one-but having the option to plug in for extended time work not only is a huge benefit on the job but it Also extends the batter life as well
Stop wasting time.. all the tools are great now because of the competition.. but with customer service and warranty on batteries is Metabo hpt.
Makita for life.
If your a Professional, skip the big box stores and look for a local “contractor supply” company. I’ve owned one for 35 years. You’ll get: better service, knowledge, application specific info help, better promotions, repair & warranty options, and all around better experience. Big box stores don’t train theIr employees properly on tools & fasteners. Check one out in your area, you will be pleased.
The Milwaukee tampon.....😂😂😂😂😂
We all didn’t know they made those. Give one to the bear to test.
It's in same section as the milwaukee Box of Cry Baby Tissues.
M12 or M18?
@@Joe_Blo m12 for light flow, m18 for heavy flow. We all know that. Mx fuel when you need a little extra but too expensive and not worth the $$.
I’m a Painter/Finisher by trade and struggle to find one all around tool brand , I have a whole lot of M18 and Dewalt 20v , also some M12 and Dewalts 12v Xtreme
Love all of them but Makita and Bosch deserve some recognition aswell even Rigid
Dewalt and snap on for the win
And Klein
I love my Makita tools.
I’m waiting on a Superstore shootout between Menard’s Masterforce versus Walmart’s Hart. Chervon vs. TTI. Make it happen.
@@boosted2.4_sky why not let them battle it out for the masses instead of just thinking about it? Let's go Pro Tool Reviews!! Make the match.
Nice recap… thanks for doing this!
Ryobi is probably the best overall if you get the HP tools and get some of the air tools from Australia
Funny how I never see Milwaukee on any job sites. 99% of the time it’s dewalt. Most of the fan boys aren’t contractors
That would only be true in USA. Makita is seen everywhere in Asia
I guess it depends which part of the country you’re in. Here on the west coast DeWalt corded tools are more common than their cordless tools. Milwaukee and Makita cordless tools run job sites over here.
I definitely see Milwaukee. Also there's the very real argument that most contractors are going to buy middle of the line tools when supplying tools. Not the most expensive. For example I doubt many contractors would be shelling out for snap on socket sets or knipex pliers if they were supplying hand tools.
I mean at the end the day people will be biased to the brand they are most loyal to, does it make that brand the best? No. But just use what you like/works for your needs and give a hoot about what others think.
Red is king
Milwaukee has learned how to get a following, they charge the most for alot of their tools so having Milwaukee tools out on the jobsite makes you look rich among the other peons.
Yep. And Boo-shay too.
Yeah, and Festool is three times more expensive, and made in Germany by people who care. Milwaukee? made by slave labors in China. Any questions? I have one. Do you support Genocide?
m12 batteries almost impossible to change out, impact collet lets bits drop out, m18 batteries get loose and lose connection, had faulty battery sent to milwaukee took over 6 months to get reply back battery was faulty. no you can waste your money on brand name ill go for performance and milwaukee doesnt have it for everyday on the jobsite work. I switched to dewalt not one problem..zero. none.
Plus, how do you sell tools to us Americans? You tell them it's for pros only and everyone else can't have them. Now, we gotta have them.
Makes Milwaukee users "look rich"? Tool for tool, across the board, I've never seen any more than a $20 difference between Milwaukee and Dewalt. As far as paying a lot upfront, I'm ok with that, because I know I'm going to get a shit ton of use/abuse out of my Red tools compared to skimping on a lesser brand and having to replace them more frequently, with their lesser warranties.
Anyone who votes Milwaukee over Hilti for durability has likely owned neither.
Anyone who voted for snap-on as the best mechanics tool likely still lives with their parents or sleeps in their car
Würth, Fein, Festool, Bosch, Metabo (not the crap metabo hpt /Hitachi), Hilti, Knipex, NWS, Gedore, Wiha, Stahlwille, Wera and Hazet make the best power, plumbing and mechanic hand tools period. All German brands.
If I could start all over again I would like to try kobalt 24 volt. I’m just a diyer and currently use dewalt max Xr 20volt and it’s boringly reliable. Thanks for video.
HILTI FESTOOL METABO MAKITA
Hard to beat Ryobi in price to performance. Their new HP lineup is fantastic and priced very competitively. Also a big fan of Milwaukee and Kobalt.
Yeah at the cost of slave labors in China. Support Nazis China and genocide? I don't. I only buy from German, other European nation, Japan and American.
@@singlefather01 What? You do realize almost every single name brand company power tools are either sourced or made in china right? Hilti, Milwaukee, ryobi, rigid, kobalt, flex, dewalt, black&decker, craftsman, hercules, makita even bosch sources and makes certain tools in china. Even the tools not make in china have china sourced parts. You gotta be some sort of delusional. You remind me of those people who "only buy american vehicles" while driving in a Ford Fusion...
@@singlefather01 in America it's a softer version of slavery with debt. When you have to sacrifice life to live on basic necessities provided by other people it's slavery.
@@singlefather01 honestly we Americans aren't in the position to criticize others. We are here to mess up everything just like everybody else.
Nice
All tools mentioned were great...on my place we have easy access with bosch, makita and dewalt im just choosing which brand makes a good price
Adding the jokes made this for me, i'm a subscriber now!! :D
I've owned them all, Makita, DeWalt and Milwaukee amongst others. Overall, the brand that is the most consistent has been Makita. Sure, red and yellow battle it out for most power etc. but after using them all no Makita I've ever owned/used was a bad tool. I call them "Maskita" (mosquito) because they are not at the top of the charts for power but I give them the nod for ergonomics, vibration control, supporting their battery systems, parts and very conservative battery chargers/BMS controllers allowing many years of use. Sure, I'd love to have a Hilti or Festool, good stuff but I don't need it for my purposes. It is all pointless anyway, the "best" only applies to a specific use and not a single company on the planet makes everything I need. Time to fire up my Makita 36V X2 dual whip trimmer....the ditch won't chop down itslelf.
I gotta agree with you, But I’m excited about the Mikita XGT.
@@dj-rocketman8545 Back some years ago, Justin Beber wanted to put out a free concert for his fans and they would vote online for the city and the winner would get a free concert. The winning city was Pongyang, North Korea--because online voting is funny that way. For the next vote, it would be funny if the best professional tool was Hart or better yet...Pink Power (pink tools aimed at women) Yeah, I'm going to get a Pink Power tool bag to impress everyone. I'm part of Team Pink Power for the next vote... think Pink!
@@dj-rocketman8545 Ever wonder why the 18V batteries never went to 21700? Because the 36V X2 configuration would not allow them to fit side-by-side. It makes sense for them to completely change the batteries then I guess. My 36V X2 is my weed whacker, all my other Makitas are 18V 5Ah powered. I'm sure Makita will change again once the 4680 becomes the go to cell (46mm in diameter, 80mm long 9Ah NMC cells made by Tesla) Fun with batteries so things are looking up in the future.
All my tools are Makita and I love them.
As dewalt fan....very angry watching this video but it is what it is
The DeWalt fans are too busy using the tools to vote.
@@trekmcdonald9608 I hardly see cordless DeWalt tools on the jobsite. I do see a heck of a lot of their corded miter saws though. The most common cordless tools I see are Milwaukee and Makita.
I use DeWALT and RIDGID they work just fine no problems as of yet been using these brands for years I still have my old DeWALT 18v DCD970KL and all original lithium ion batteries 4 total still working holds a charge I buy every thing I need at my local Home Depot it is very convenient for me. 👍
I agree with the results.
Milwaukee plumbing tools 🤔🤔🤔🤣🤣🤣
Next vote should be on who makes the best gardening tools ego would have this one in bag😁🤣😂😎👍
#POSITECGROUP tools is WORX, DEXTER, ROCKWELL, BAUKER, CAT, WESCO end KRESS
All jokes And hate aside 60% of the people here probably haven’t built anything. My dad has and is still using the same craftsman drills he has from when he first arrived in America 20 years ago…. Am I saying they are the best ? Of course not but Just like a car people, if you take care of it, it WILL take care of you, simple. Some are better than others but please don’t get caught up in marketing and “hype following” as I call it because clearly Milwaukee has that. I have a Chevy Malibu I still drive (have a truck also) with 300k miles on it ! I know people who have malibus in the junkyard before 100k…. Its all about the user ! Just like a video game as a kid lol
Bosch is the largest most popular brand world wide by a lead not even close to the number two. Just not as much in America. They still make some of the most high end durable equipment out there.
Milwaukee!!
The big three are Hilti Milwaukee and Makita! DeWalt isn’t even in the same league.
In my experience, Milwaukee is arrogant with pricing and they've rushed out a few lemons and they will have to increase voltage sooner or later for high draw tools .Dewalt Flexvolt leaves all cordless saws in the dust and I believe by making their Flexvolt batteries backwards compatible to 18/20 volt XR series was very forward thinking and the rest of their tools are pretty good that I've tried .Makita is very good and have a great range but warranty not so good their new 40 volt systems batteries are not backwards compatible to 18 volt XLT ,BIG MISTAKE which I can't understand .!!!!!! Oh yeah Hilti is wayyyyy overpriced and not good value.
All wrong, nepros is the best, even snap-on. Yep I said it.
Milwaukee makita ryobi
Milwaukee guys are like tesla/elon musk fanboys of the tool world :D
i know milwaukee is gonna win. I have not watched the video. Our fanboys are STRONG
WTH is oing on with dewalt... they haven't been releasing many new tools or designs
just came out with 12v xtreme impact that blows away m12 stubby
@@greatbay1961 I meant flex stuff , they forgot about their 60v line
MILWAUKEE FAN BOYS 🤣🤣🤣
More like a bunch of Milwaukee fan boys united
I've talked to 2 guys at the Hardware store that swear Hilti is the best, neither owns a single Hilti tool... Amazing how a product so rarely used by DIY'ers is so coveted.
who TF seriously thinks Milwaukee handtools are actually good.
They are good enough for most. I can say, I do love their big demolition flathead. It’s a beast. I had a klein but the handle kept popping off. I used epoxy on it and it was all good but I feel like I shouldn’t have to do that.
I didn't even know Milwaukee had hand tools!! Guess I've been living under a rock. Lol. 😅😅
I use that big metal thru shank screwdriver too. Things a beast
🇦🇺 not so great a choice in Au
I love how he said flex will dominate the tool brands down the road. yeah ok first off they suck and their 24 volt platform is a joke as well as their turbo mode. milwaukee is not gonna let them get to the top and even if they do it won't be for long.
You never know, I personally don’t like Milwaukee I know they are the strongest but that’s all they have going for them, I’ll take a Mikita every day of the week, feels better in the hand, runs much nicer and the switches don’t rattle when I’m using it.
@@dj-rocketman8545 makita also doesnt have batteries that stop staying it, collet issues, trigger failures then cost almost as much as a new tool to repair because its all one piece with the switch and controller. Makitas trigger/switch fails far less often and can be replaced for 15-20 instead of 100+. Milwaukee has the power, but the reliability isnt there. Especially for the price. Milwaukee sure knows how to suck in their fan boys with their marketing. Now only if they built a tool as good as their marketing.
Quality tools Milwaukee hahahaahhaha, is that why it rattles when you use it lol
Dewalt is the best, Milwaukee is hands down the worst company.
Oh kyle 😂
@@adamdavis2788 only if u buy it out right.....been buying Milwaukee only during hacks and it’s just as cheap as dewalt
I just jumped back into the Craftsman tool line and so far hasn't disappointed. Seems like they're very comparable to DeWalt, especially since DeWalt is big brother to them now. Hopefully in a few years, Craftsman will be back in the conversation for best value at a minimum.
@@adamdavis2788 but that’s ur own opinion....I’m not saying one is better then the other...sounds like ur a fan boy of dewalt and I’m not here to debate. I was just discussing price. I only went with Milwaukee because they make plumbing and electricians tools unlike dewalt.
