The world of motor racing is all about speed, adrenalin and incredible stories and our team is no exception. Find out all about it by watching “Whatever it takes - The Race before the Races”, our official documentary film, now freely available online in the original language and in 4K.
The world premiere of Whatever it Takes, in Venice back in September 2023, was a great success and now everyone can enjoy watching the film produced in conjunction with our Media Partner, Digital Lighthouse. Let Franz Tost, Pierre Gasly, Yuki Tsunoda, Jody Egginton and Peter Bayer talk you through the beating heart of our team. Going behind the scenes as never before in Formula 1, the film delves into the secrets of the Faenza factory in Italy and the Bicester wind tunnel in the UK. It’s a great story going all the way back to the Scuderia Toro Rosso days, which included our first ever win at Monza in 2008 and the challenges faced in the years that followed. It also features the drivers that sat in our cars over the past 20 years, such as Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen, as well as covering our change to Scuderia AlphaTauri in 2020, with new facilities, more ambitious goals and another win, again in Monza, this time courtesy of Pierre Gasly.
So much achieved and so much more to aim for. Whatever it takes!

Tell the Visa Cash App bosses that we don't like their name. People wouldn't buy your merch with this name doesn't matter if the designs are great. You tell them to toss their egos aside and just remove the Visa Cash App name. Just put a big Visa Cash App sticker on the car, how about that? Make it neon so we won't miss it. But putting it on the team name is a lot and unnecessary. It's all ego.

Everyone bringing up McLaren obviously doesn’t remember them announcing this documentary last year. I’ve been waiting months for this to come out and I’m so excited to finally watch it

Great documentary and great to see all the hard work that goes into putting these cars on track! Really wish the 'Torro Rosso' name had been brought back. That's the history and beginnings of this team under Red Bull. Fans loved it! The new name 'Visa Cash App RB F1 Team' is a bit embarrassing for the team. It has no soul and is not befitting of an F1 Team. I can't imagine anyone wanting to buy any merchandise with that name on. Fans and TV personnel certainly won't use the name. It's marketing suicide really! Yes it got some headlines for a day or two, but not in a positive light...
Please tell me it was a marketing ploy ahead of the season and the car launch will unveil a new era for 'Torro Rosso' to return!!!
Its RB. That’s their new name. The added part is just sponsoring. This way they can keep RB as name in future but if needed change sponsor name. That way it keeps the same RB appearance

The section of this video where Pierre won in Monza and him describing his journey to become who it is gave me goosebumps.
Wonderful video. So great to see the FULL team. Its always a team effort. And Fran’s has been an important part in so many junior drivers path in F1. We will miss him.

Wrong, cos this is THE PAST, not the present. Zak is scared of RB cos they have new energy with new bosses and technical employees. Still a junior team to let junior drivers grow. McLaren themselves use next to the engine also other parts of Merc…..just as AM and Williams do too…
Haas and Alfa Romeo use engines and other parts from Ferrari…. And nowZak complains abt Visa Cash App RB? Who do exactly as Zak is doing himself? 😂 Zak is a hypocrite lol
And in 2023 former AT/Toro Rosso drivers are still on the grid ALSO at other teams. And those drovers drove for MANY other teams after AT/Toro Rosso. I've been an F1 fan for 37 years and involved in CAD/CAM/Manufacturing and a bit of marketing, so it was neat to spy some of the tech being used across the board. It's a real shame that you are starting this new era with such a crap team name though.

The doc is great and all, and it really shows the effort put on it, but not having any footage of races is crippling. 83 minutes and 38 seconds of footage and less than 10 with the car moving and not a single second racing is just not good. I'm really sorry.
