Pro Palestine Student Walkout at Brooklyn College and Midwood BK 11.9.23

11.9.23 | By Usman | MIDWOOD, Brooklyn- Students at Brooklyn College and Neighboring Midwood High School walked out of their classes this afternoon as part of day National Walkout for Palestine affecting college campuses across the country. Protesters are calling for the resignation of Brooklyn College President Michelle Anderson who they claim has been not understanding of their views and for not taking out more actions against NYC Councilwoman Inna Vernikov who bought a gun to a another off campus rally last month. Pro Israel students did not have a counter demonstrations but some did agitated the pro Palestine protesters by waving Israeli flags and chanting Pro Israel chants.
