I’m a black man, and will say that guys like this are why our women are so over masculine. When he said after the reveal that there’s “no way he could know if he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her after only two weeks of knowing her” I actually agreed with him on that. Somehow I thought all of this took place over more time than just two weeks so I feel him there. But come on man, you slept with her, told her you loved her, reading scriptures to her, let her choose a dress, let her convene her mother, sisters and young nieces, walk down that isle and let her say “I do” and didn’t even want her. That was traumatic on all three generations of those women. And I noticed They didn’t even have one man on AD’s side of the family to represent - a bunch of unprotected women. ONE MAN is all it would have taken to see right thru that dude. He spent the whole series crying on her shoulder and looking to her for strength and validation. This is just sad. He could have made up any excuse to end it earlier on, but carried it on all the way to the altar. But I guess any body who says I do after two weeks and on a show like this usually has some screws loose.
I appreciate your perspective, especially about AD's family. It was horrible to see them all heartbroken. But everyone on the show took the risk that it wasn't going to work out. And going to the altar may have been in their show contracts. It's a TV show more than it is a marriage machine.
Thank you for this post, bc this happens SO often women POUR into men and his response is ripping her soul out on National tv. Then to insult her finances....she poured so much into him to make him a better man and he had absolutely no regard for her....I knew he didn't hv her back when he let her walk down the aisle by herself. Based on their "relationship" I just felt like he didn't hv her back even then....so sad😭😭😭

He also talked about how financially successfully he is and how she might not be on that level, it had nothing to do with his dad. It was about him loving himself and his life and not really loving her
His ego took a hit with the Matthew thing. Was this long game payback? IDK. So disappointing. He could have told her before the altar. She so did not deserve that humiliation. It was cruel.
That episode was heartbreaking. That said, the show broke them up more than anyone. If they just were able to commit and date and live together they would be happy today. The scripted stuff and pressure to get married then and there ruined it.
It broke my heart to see those little girls who look up to their aunty so much, see her be humilated up on that altar. Shame on Clay for tricking everyone and traumatizing those little girls. Hopefully they take nothing away from this. I hope it's not a core memory for them.
I hear that but it's a chance u take going on this show . Guys, get left Girls get left Clay should have been honest at the very first meeting. You could see it all over his body he didn't like her.
Yeah the little girls watching all of that go down truly hurt my heart. However God can use everything for good and hopefully this will be something they remember so that they are cautious and make sure they take their time and are absolutely sure about their decision to marry.
So when he gets ready to cheat He dumps the girl. She should have asked how many serious relationships he been in. Sounds like he hasn't taken any women seriously ever. AD should have never gave him the pussy I would have made him starve for it And had he played me At least he wouldn't know how I feel sexually. I'd kept my Integrity and dignity as a woman. She messed up when she let him hit.
She a bum I’m sorry he got ish going on she don’t have wife qualities she really strike me as a side chick to a man who got his ish together and building his future she don’t offer anything beside a body just the truth
It was obvious from the reveal that you weren’t into AD. You stayed for her body, experience, and exposure. AD is beautiful so it’s your loss. She deserves and will get better!
Based on this interview, I'm starting to believe that he wasn't really into or in love with AD. He wasn't interested in being married to her. If he wasn't a cheater before, and felt if he was going to cheat he would end the relationship. That's pretty much what he did on the show. He needs to stop making excuses like his dad, take accountability and apologize to her. He was/is a red flag because of his daddy issues and his priorities are work, not to mention he was hell bent on physical attraction
You can absolutely be “successful” in your work, career, education, friendships, health, etc and be a red flag for a relationship. Actually many men fall into that category. Many people fall into that category. The red flag was not only past family trauma. The red flag is the inability to connect emotionally and demonstrate the ability to respect and protect another persons emotions. I wish Clay the best but I am yet to see that he has truly learned from this experience.
Everybody got red flags depending on who you ask. Who cares. She got red flags dealing with a man who clearly don't want to marry her. They both got red flags for going on a television show for love and marriage. 🚩🚩
International television.. All of Western, African, European countries saw this public humiliation, of this beautiful black gem. This did not have to be aired. The purpose of shows like these is always to destroy anything black. I can bet all of my money that the main producers and founders are non melanated. The black community always fall victim to these people's manipulation; Money and Fame. Black people need to stay away from these hateful and divisive reality shows. Find a way to heal off screen, away from non melanated public scrutiny. If you can't see it now you will Never see that everything is about race and the domination of the black communities across the diaspora. Really think about that. To deny it is to give power over to the instigators of our oppression.
You’re not sure you don’t sleep with someone. That’s it. He keeps saying he needs to work on himself but that really means he’s not ready for commitment. You can lie to people but the most dangerous thing is to lie to yourself. This man is lying to himself and unfortunately creating chaos in other people’s lives.
I don’t even think he’s actually lying to himself. He knows he’s not into women. He just thought he could fool us all when in actual fact he’s the easier book to read.
You can be a walking red flag and still have all of those same accomplishments as Clay. The red flags were all the things the he described about himself. Just because you have some self awareness doesn't absolve you of your actions. You're supposed to act on that self awareness and resolve those issues so that you do not bring your baggage and trauma to other people. He's still not taking responsibility for what he said and did to AD.
Why should he? He told her from jump what he liked and wanted. She not his type... Clearly. This is a show. Love wasn't blind. Not his fault she delusional.
@@Jrfusion08mate grow up he had every chance to leave earlier in the show instead of leaving like an adult would if things weren’t right before walking down the aisle. Go and give your head a wobble if you genuinely think this is an acceptable way to treat a woman, you’re another that needs therapy if this is the case as you have a million to one opinion on this. Get real
@@Jrfusion08Ok...It's a "television show." Agreed, but it has a real impact on AD, her nieces (did you see their faces?), and little black girls around the world that look like her. As the lead in the relationship, he should have stopped it before going to the altar with this women. Period. Honestly, I even wonder if the producers encouraged Clay to let it get to this point. I mean, how entertaining would the "tv show" have been with only one wedding? It was his responsibility to protect her from this, but he used her and rejected her on the world stage for what... tv time, exposure, fame, etc...? Seems like the manner in which he did this was for self-promotion. AD is in no way at fault for how Clay chose to reject her. Clay is an accomplished, intelligent, handsome, determined young black man that chose to humiliate an accomplished, intelligent, beautiful, and driven young black woman in nearly the worst way possible (on international TV) before the world. That's what's "goofy" to me. Have more respect for us as a people and black love by handling this woman's heart better.
He was not subtle at all about wanting to know how she looked and suggesting that it was a deal breaker if he wasn't attracted to her. That was enough for me. She should have given matthew a chance.
I think AD has to share some responsibility on how this played out. Clay was showing and telling her who he was but it seems as if AD felt by reassuring him, giving him words of affirmation, being his cheerleader that she could SAVE or CHANGE him when in the back of her mind there’s something telling you otherwise. To me it was too much of her nurturing and validating his thoughts and feelings about his dad’s negative actions. AD you IGNORED the red flags
I agree with this statement he kept communicating that he needed therapy and that he didn’t know how to be a husband and he had fears of cheating. Granted I don’t agree with the way he went about things in the end but we cannot change anyone the person has to choose to want to change and see it through.
Absolutely 💯. AD needs to learn to STOP being a fixer, else she's going to keep experiencing Clay in different men and repeating the same cycle. Clay is a crimson red flag. Phew!
Why did he come on the show if he knew he had a problem with relationship. So, he wasn’t focused on the relationship, he came on to grow his business. Wow 😮! Got it, what a jerk 😮
And he just used her for the convenience of sex and a placeholder to express himself. Use and abuse, hit it and quit it while I get everything I need type of attitude.
He is a narcissistic a-hole. If they know you have any religious background they will play on you spiritual to catch u mentally off guard so they gain access to you emotionally and physically. Typical narc behavior.
I swear this man said “would you take my lovely hand in marriage” when he proposed and when he flipped out on AD when she was telling him about the other guy. He fine af but yes a walking red flag! Loved the convo between his mom and dad…. When his mom said “you met me, but you wasn’t good to me” …. Left the dad speechless. These men need to grow up man.
@kekecampbell812 I would put $ on the guess that the women knew he was married. It's not women against men or men against women. It's poor character and poor choices.
His proposal was about flesh the proposal was flesh they both fornicated an went into this with marriage on their own terms and for some it never works
AD was my favorite person on this season. She was amazing, adorable, funny, honest and patient...maybe too patient. Clay was a mess....talking, talking, talking, talking, slurping, crying, talking, blah, blah, blah. I would fast forward his dialog. I noticed he was always about himself, what she could bring to his life, how she helped him be a man, but never what he wanted to provide to her. A narcissist. I was heartbroken for AD but at the same time, she "dodged" a bullet and she'll be ok. AD needs a real man that receives love and gives love, instead of a man with so much vanity and doesn't make any sense. AD, you will get what you deserve, as you deserve the best, a woman's worth is not tied to man. You are a gem. Btw, Clay's mom was so strong and amazing. There was so much wisdom and truth in her conversation with Clay's father. Wow, that scene was the best scene of the episode. Clay, you really messed up. Get some help or you're going to make the mistakes you fear and experienced with your dad. Good luck to you both. .
@@noneya1238lol he never said he didn’t want her, lol I see what you mean but cmon we all know what he said. Definitely not that he doesn’t want her though. Bro literally led her on
@@noneya1238yea that’s not what he said tho lol. He literally said to the cameras that he wasn’t in love with AD, but in the next scene he didn’t say that to her face.
She isn’t wrong. I was really rooting for him because I thought he was like making great strides in his life and doing the work but you knew going onto the show that you were looking for marriage and love your life and you played the part all the way up until the end and then you jumped ship! Sorry but you had no business being on the show… smh
It’s 3 months in total from the pods to saying I do. They have two weeks after the honeymoon period to decide if it’s a yes or a no before they walk down the aisle. Unlike other series, this one they had the option to drop out before the wedding like Jimminy Cricket did to Meghan UnFox. Clay wanted the limelight. They need to do a LIB for gay couples, he would thrive on that.
He really isn’t a narcissist. Clay articulated all his flaws and struggles to AD very clearly. He knew he wasn’t ready and we all saw that he wasn’t either. He made the right decision by saying no. I hope he went to therapy and is on his healing journey. He also handled the dressing room scene with a lot of empathy. He told her, I am not saying no to you which means he was saying no to himself. No to being a husband when he isn’t ready.
He is absolutely a narcissist. A narcissist will tell you to your face that they wont/cant treat you right, but still continue to participate in a relationship with you. And even beg you to stay knowing they cant connect emotionally. The word is used a lot, but a lot of people should be diagnosed but aren’t. American culture creates narcissists. I have an ex from almost 20 years ago that messaged me last year and told me he was diagnosed with NPD, when i told him he needed therapy way back then. 🤷🏽♀️
I was bothered by him throughout the whole show because he is so peformative - just acting for the cameras. He seemed totally fake to me the whole time. Even the times he told the truth about himself was manipulative.
Excuses excuses shouldn't have come the show.....just trash His parents are ridiculous. He shouldn't have signed up, and he should have told her prior. At least, Jimmy didn't allow Chelsea to get all dressed up for this mess.
I have a hard time believing she didn’t know. The conversation she had on his wedding day should have been the conversation she had with him before he walked down the aisle. She has a daughter and what if someone hurt her that way. His mom and dad endorsed his bad behavior
His proposal was about flesh the proposal was flesh they both fornicated an went into this with marriage on their own terms and for some it never works
A huge problem in the black community is the lack of fathers in the household. It affects generation after generation. Clay has deep seated issues from the things his father exposed him to. That discussion between his mom and dad after the wedding was extremely raw and real. I commend the show for airing it and bringing the issue to light. Clay has a lot of work to do. A lot. But at least he is starting to recognize that and was willing to talk about it openly. In the end he did the right thing not marrying her. I just feel he’s the product of his community and his upbringing and he probably deserves a tiny bit of grace. The problem is bigger than him.
I disagree black communities have a major problem with education and their environment so when those children grow up and become parents the crappy cycle keeps repeating. It is important to have a two parent home (I'm saying parent because it doesn't need to be a man or woman nor does it have to be a relationship) but it is also important to have two competent parents who know wtf they are doing and stop setting their own children up for failure.
@@leighalunatic Education is very important but there is a lot of research around the lack of a positive male role model in the home - what that does to a child and the long term effects on their future relationships. It’s a thing.
Why does this problem keep repeating itself? There is lack of accountability which hurts the next person. We will keep talking about this 200 years from now.
Clay cut the BS(bad stuff)!! You were on the show to get fame. You were only interested in appearance. If you were serious you would not have asked about her physical make up, and when you saw her you said and did whatever it took to tap that. She was just another notch in your belt to flex for your friends. They told you in the man cave, “We know how you are”, but changed it to how you used to be. The world should have known then. I wouldn’t be surprised if one of those women sitting at your wedding is one of your women. Then when you introduced AD to your mom, I knew then you were not serious. Your mother’s body language told it all. Sir, your family is not the one marrying, they had their opportunity. Your loss because AD is very smart and she articulates very well. Why are you worried about her financial status. That doesn’t matter if you love someone. Most people work and build together. That’s what love is about. I’m pretty sure she has her own coins. You read that scripture to her because you knew then what you were going to do. Please put the Bible up sir. Most of all what your father did has nothing to do with you. You know that you are your father and you are just making an excuse on national tv. You must didn’t call AD your girlfriend because you stated you have never called anyone a girlfriend that you cheated on. You misled AD and that wasn’t right. As positive as she was you could have told her at that table when you went into lala land. I really hope AD never looks your way again. AD can do so much better. signed, I SAID WHAT I SAID
Remember the BS talk his dad tried to have with him b4 going to the altar. He got the gift of " not saying a damn thing while still using lost of words " .SMH
Interestingly enough, I do believe him. He had articulated very well during the Show to A.D that he had all of these fears surrounding marriage, and his ability to be faithful to his partner etc. He never swayed from that position. I believe that’s why in the lead up to them being fitted for the ceremony, he felt caught in a trap, because he knew he couldn’t go through with it. He told her as much, and A.D said that she wouldn’t simply date him afterwards. Watching this play out, I wondered why he was even on LIB. Seems that he was only focused on the end goal, without ever really having gone through the process of serious dating to find a partner. If A.D had more self esteem , and self reliance, she would have said to him that maybe he is not truly ready for marriage. Instead, she decided that she would carry him, until he learned through therapy how to be faithful. I cringed when I heard those words. Marriage is hard enough without taking on another person’s trauma, and try to save them. A.D herself needs therapy to unlearn the saviour complex she has built in her psyche. Everyone has some childhood issue. Usually when couples commit to each other at a young age ( twenties), they don’t recognize it. However over time they grow and evolve together, and if they are cognizant of the issues, will strive to overcome together. Clay made the right decision for both of them. In time A,D will see it as well.
I totally agree. She has a savior complex and needs some serious therapy herself. She even said she carried relationships, then felt like she was never enough when they dumped her. He was a red flag, and she was smart enough to see that, but chose to ignore it. Her mom too. I feel like her own insecurities and codependency, led to her heartbreak.
He did not articulate well at all. This is not blues clues. Articulating is “AD you are not my type, I only want sex and I will not marry you.” Simple. He said none of that, instead he humiliated her in a wedding dress, in front of her nieces and mother. He’s disgusting and will not get better because the black community pacified this behavior.
The whole show I was screaming at the tv he’s a fboy run AD run. She was so consumed with how attractive she found him that she ignored the red flags until he humiliated her at the altar. He really did because the way he handled her was not the way of a man who’s unsure about marrying you. At the same time his actions and words did not align. That was a dead giveaway.
I said the same thing. F boy energy even in the pods. He took her to the altar to say I do to validate himself that someone would actually want to marry him flaws and all. And he knew all along it was a game to him
He said a lot of words but none it made sense. He’s looking to string together a coherent thought to excuse himself for putting AD through such humiliation and in the end justify his actions. He is the biggest pile of poo and he just described himself as a walking red flag. AD dodged a bullet with this one.
My heart goes out to AD.This man talks like a sports commentator. Like this shit was just a game to him. So broken and twisted. I hope AD finds healing, this would mess anyone up psychologically. 😢
Come on Clay! Why wait for this young lady to reach the altar only to disappoint her? The secondhand embarrassment was real. That smirk on your face after you said no and the total disregard afterward when she was clearly heartbroken and shocked. My prayers to AD. I hope she will overcome this. Every misfortune is a blessing in disguise. He obviously had ulterior motives.
He literally described a red flag! Boy, please. Bye. I was rooting for you to find your way but the way you did AD was not right. She shouldn't have ignored the red flags but you should have had some respect for her and told her before the wedding day.
I think he was cocky enough to say no to AD because he, concidering her nature of beeing very understanding and supportive, though that she would stay and carry on the relationship without being married. He needs to work on himself, and hopefully in the future he can find someone that is even a 10th of what AD is. Good Luck, Clay Clay Okay Kay. AD - you are destined for greater things than this little boy.
I'm fine with everything except marching her down that aisle. I started out detesting Jimmy but at least he respected Chelsie enough to NOT humiliate her and the entire family with that bullshit. Grow up, Clay, and stop seeking validation from women.
He had so many excuses. He said he didn’t really know her finances, he had relationship issues because of his dad. I believe all that was 🧢 in the pods he asked that lady what she looked like, referring to her body shape. He was more worried about her physical appearance. What he really wanted to ask also what her skin complexion was. I do feel a big part of his decision to not go through with the marriage was her skin complexion. I think he wanted someone bright light.
I think it was more about skin complexion also black men are most attracted on lighter skin women. I feel so bad for AD I hope she heals from this heart breaking fast
AD did not understand what the other girls detected about Matthew. Or Clay. But it’s explainable bcz she’s too accepting. Even after being left at the alter by Clay, she said “there’s nothing he could have said or done to make me change my mind.” She admitted she keeps dating the same kind of guy who leads her nowhere. AD does not and won’t change or have standards and ppl she will say NO to!!!! Finding the right kind of love is knowing who to say NO to. She said she felt Clay and all men use her as a vessel for their growth. But she had the opportunity! She refused to change or grow. Ppl are taught to have too much self-assuredness, and it prevents growth sometimes. Stay humble.
I respect Clay for knowing he has work to do. It took a lot of courage to say no when the whole world wanted you to say YES! He's only 30!! There are 40, 50 and 60 year olds that don't even realize that they are walking red flags. These men and women have ruined and are ruining a lot of lives because they refuse to address their pain! He has childhood trauma (kudos to him for realizing it at 30 years old) and he has to heal!! Geez! You will be fine Clay...stay transparent and get all the help you need to be a great husband so the cycle can stop! NEWSFLASH: Several brides/grooms/ on Love Is Blind say NO at the alter! He's not the first and won't be the last - Ms. Pat
Sounds as though he knew long before the wedding day he wasn't going to say "I Do". He should have spared her feelings by disclosing this before the wedding (like Kenneth and Jimmy).🙁
AD was scared to walk down the aisle alone, without her father. But you reassured her to be strong and made her walk down the aisle for you, only for you to reject her. Well, you could have spared her the trauma and embarrassment and told her you didn't want to go to the altar. That is all.
@@MissMawejaImmaturity. She views herself as a princess. Also, her inability to see the toxic traits in others. Clay said that he was worried about cheating on her and that it wouldn’t be good enough if she gained weight. She didn’t leave after that??
@thewiseowl8804 wouldn't someone who views themselves aa a princess, leave after seeing these toxic traits? I think (and this is based on what I've seen in the show, I don't know any of these people) she showed that she would accept toxic traits because she didn't value herself enough. She said "I'm never enough" after the rejection. I see someone who needs to build more self-love, self confidence & have healthy boundaries & expectations. Not someone who views themselves as a "princess" which would mean she would see herself as the prize which would have actually been the right mindset for AD IMHO. I do agree that she has some maturing to do.
This man knew the union is that shot but he went ahead and wasted her time. Whatever he says doesnt matter. He enjoyed sex with her and that is just what he wanted. He was just a player looking for fame for his business, he is a real red flag and just wasted her time.
@@chikeziekezinwaoha1970 please watch the reunion. He is still pursuing her. At least she is smart enough to say 'no' to any relationship post the altar.
Until AD fall in love with herself and respect herself she will never find a husband. But everyone is not going to get married your love can be found in others ways❤
AD is an amazing and deeply beautiful person in and our. I'm glad HE MADE the decision because she really deserves someone much better. Clay will find his soulmate but as he said himself, he needs some work. He said he wasn't deeply in love, he rarely complements her on her beauty (whether it's the first time they meet or at the altar, and makes lame excuses for his (in)actions. I believe he will grow bc his mom is a great mentor.
if a man promises to marry a woman, but does not actually intend to marry her, and still has consensual sex with her, this will amount to a criminal offence. Sex under deceitful means or false promises to marry, may be punished with a prison term that can extend up to 10 years.
He has no idea what a Red Flag 🚩 means, if it hit him across the face. When it comes to your relationships and your shortcomings (RED FLAGS) Clay is quick to blame others. He had no idea what the show Love is Blind was about. He came on the show to be on tv and make $8k ?. He researched LIB while on the show and had a tough time accepting the premises of the show 1) proposing sight unseen and 2) expected to get married or not at the end. Sadly, he kept refusing to accept the terms and his growth was at the embarrassment of AD and his Father. You are only concerned about being a cheater, because you’ve been a cheater or were being a cheater.
Nah not at all. Kenneth, yes . Clay just gives he likes light skin women or white girls. He had to force himself to be 100% attracted to AD I bet if we dug up all his exes pics none of them are dark skinned.
I’m sorry there is no excuse for letting someone get to the altar then saying you’re not ready. No one feels sorry for you. You should not have let it get it that far period.
AD wasn’t goin to pick you, you cried in the pods to get her, then you get her and talk about not being able to be with one woman, you came on the show for your 4 mins of fame
I never cried so much in my life. Clay is a piece of 💩! AD deserves so much better, she deserves someone who is 100% sure about her. Why go on a show & pretend to be healed & then use your “parents down fall” as an excuse. I just watched a beautiful Queen have her crown crushed and then asked the man that told her no, “what do I do now”. This is crazy and sad to watch. Clay said to AD “I’m not going anywhere I’m gonna go to therapy”. This is not cool, coming on the show you are agreeing that you are ready for marriage, that you are healed and ready for love. I’m pissed that clay kept trying to gaslight her in the end kissing her and saying he’s sorry. Smh! He could have at least said something before he wasted her time with a wedding.
Thx u clay for not marrying her. It was a good decision. Recognizing the problem and facing them before it’s to late is the best. Go on brother, do the process on yourself and u will find ur person.

That episode was heartbreaking. That said, the show broke them up more than anyone. If they just were able to commit and date and live together they would be happy today. The scripted stuff and pressure to get married then and there ruined it.

Clay should have been honest at the very first meeting. You could see it all over his body he didn't like her.
All six sisters and the mom were deeply disappointed by this black man. Such selfishness and entirely avoidable.
Yeah the little girls watching all of that go down truly hurt my heart. However God can use everything for good and hopefully this will be something they remember so that they are cautious and make sure they take their time and are absolutely sure about their decision to marry.

I didn't see their reveal I have to go watch it
Based on this interview, I'm starting to believe that he wasn't really into or in love with AD.
Well Said!
Everybody got red flags depending on who you ask. Who cares. She got red flags dealing with a man who clearly don't want to marry her. They both got red flags for going on a television show for love and marriage. 🚩🚩

Shame on this guy for going on national TV to make a fool out of himself and that poor trusting woman.
That’s the point of the show 🤨
International television..

She was being who she is. I say she could've still been nurturing & affirming & still have said no at the alter.
I agree with this statement he kept communicating that he needed therapy and that he didn’t know how to be a husband and he had fears of cheating. Granted I don’t agree with the way he went about things in the end but we cannot change anyone the person has to choose to want to change and see it through.

His father is definitely a narcissist.
Clay is not a narcissist. People throw that diagnosis around when it rarely fits.
What emotions did Clay ever show?? Classic narcissistic
I was bothered by him throughout the whole show because he is so peformative - just acting for the cameras. He seemed totally fake to me the whole time. Even the times he told the truth about himself was manipulative.
I believed he was being shallow when he mentioned that if AD put on weight, he would point it out to shame her to exercise.

@@embeth446 Lol the father was in the home. He was in the home doing foolishness.
If y’all believed that my daddy my daddy my daddy bs. Clay is not into women! That’s it that’s all!

I agree, he did make the best decision.
He didnt have to take her to the Alter . He did that for his own selfish reasons . He never attempted to work on his Daddy issues.
Fear of marriage but why did he decide to go to a show where the marriage was about?
The whole show I was screaming at the tv he’s a fboy run AD run. She was so consumed with how attractive she found him that she ignored the red flags until he humiliated her at the altar. He really did because the way he handled her was not the way of a man who’s unsure about marrying you. At the same time his actions and words did not align. That was a dead giveaway.
I said the same thing. F boy energy even in the pods. He took her to the altar to say I do to validate himself that someone would actually want to marry him flaws and all. And he knew all along it was a game to him

He's the absolute worst. 😅 AD dodged a bullet. I hope she knows that now.
@thewiseowl8804 wouldn't someone who views themselves aa a princess, leave after seeing these toxic traits? I think (and this is based on what I've seen in the show, I don't know any of these people) she showed that she would accept toxic traits because she didn't value herself enough. Seems like there’s some people who don’t understand the concept of the show. Interesting.
That part
Until AD fall in love with herself and respect herself she will never find a husband. But everyone is not going to get married your love can be found in others ways❤
Why did you sign up for the show then?
AD is an amazing and deeply beautiful person in and our. I'm glad HE MADE the decision because she really deserves someone much better. Clay will find his soulmate but as he said himself, he needs some work. He said he wasn't deeply in love, he rarely complements her on her beauty (whether it's the first time they meet or at the altar, and makes lame excuses for his (in)actions. I believe he will grow bc his mom is a great mentor.
Well said !
This relationship was doomed from the pods. I’m not surprised
Right?!? He wasn't her first pick anyways 😂
Go to therapy so!
if a man promises to marry a woman, but does not actually intend to marry her, and still has consensual sex with her, this will amount to a criminal offence. Sex under deceitful means or false promises to marry, may be punished with a prison term that can extend up to 10 years.
Clay just likes the sound of his own voice he always sounds like speaking from a script and waffles 🙄
Every time i hear grace and therapy from folks, i want to barf. Its like sales pitch buzz words
Is he wearing the necklace he gave AD? He really should have gotten himself all the way together BEFORE going on this show.
They had matching necklaces.
This man is definitely tasting the rainbow 🌈 whoever doesn’t see that is blind
Nah not at all. Kenneth, yes . Clay just gives he likes light skin women or white girls. He had to force himself to be 100% attracted to AD I bet if we dug up all his exes pics none of them are dark skinned.
I like Clay. I like his willing to be open about his feelings and thoughts. I think with the work, he will be a good husband.
Did not expect Clay and Chelsea to be the S6 villains. 😮
oh please …. you really expect ppl to believe this now
He is fs a walking red flag. AD deserves so much better.
Does she? She attracted this relationship.
I’m sorry there is no excuse for letting someone get to the altar then saying you’re not ready. No one feels sorry for you. You should not have let it get it that far period.
How is this man 30? His mental age is 12. I can’t.
Facts!! Lacks emotional intelligence
When he asked her how are you? My man laughed he just broke that man’s heart
He didn't have to do that at the altar, it really shows how immature, cruel and conceited he is.
He did that as a red pill power move. She deserves better.
he stayed on the show to grow his businesses holy shit
