- Cannelloni may be an Italian dish originally, but it too has been modified to be made with Finnish ingredients. Here I make a Finnish version of meat cannelloni.

Just returned from Oulu and Kemi and seems I missed the real finnish cuisine.. all they offer up there is Hesburger, Texmex, Pizza, Thai and Indian. and Lohiburger at K-markt... Seems I was at the wrong place or wrong time (February)... Must and will go again. Kiitos for your videos from Itävalta (Austria)
Yeah Finns don't usually go out for dinner and eat "Finnish food." Having said that, there are usually a bunch of lunch restaurants around that serve simple Finnish food at reasonable prices. You may have to ask around for them, often they're not advertised or signed very well.
No kebab? Thought that was as much a Finnish dish these days as Chicken Tikka Masala was British.
@@cookiegirl2cookie197 Kebab as well, but I refuse to eat that kind of rubbish if there is local food around...what helps is to go the supermarkets, and try the smoked salmon or "kanadisk" or similar, these are really good (and not expensive, 15€/kg)
